What's something you've always wanted to ask the opposite gender?

Wifey wonders what it’s like to have all that apparatus attached and hanging.

I wonder what it’s like to have that (mostly) internal experience.

Guys... Are you really that clueless?

Depends what you mean by this question. But if you're referring to recognizing the cues that a woman is interested, then yes, I absolutely am.

By and large, it is inconceivable to me that a woman would be romantically or sexually interested in me. (And I don't use that word in the Princess Bride sense.) So anything that might be a cue to either one is easily dismissed or explained as relating to something else, or simply doesn't even register at all. Unless she comes right out and says something, or makes a move of some kind, I'm probably unaware.

I've never once asked a woman out and not been surprised she said yes.

Missed this one back there. (I guess I am clueless!)

Yep.

Several times I have had to be told that a woman was throwing herself at me, because I thought she just wanted to talk. I suppose it comes from not believing it was likely to happen, or even possible.

As Xerxes82 said, "inconceivable"

This explains so much...!

What value would you place on a female making the first move?

What is something women can do or say to directly show interest without coming on too strong?

It's a bit of a bit of a conundrum, the women that have come on to me have generally been subtle enough to make me think it was all my idea. How they have done this remains a mystery to me.

Depending on the circumstances, at my stage in life, tbh I'd be fairly suspicious of anyone who came on too strong, for me just being friendly and building a relationship is the way to go.

Coming on too strong is relative. It all depends on the situation, I would be shocked if a co-worker asked to make porn with me, but if it's a girl I met in a bar I would be like...sure!

Based on a real life situation of course...:p

At my age, making the first move - and keeping the ball rolling when necessary - is less about thinking the guy is magically delicious, and more about simply not being in the mood to waste any more of my precious time. Or his.

True! Being honest about your intentions and acting on them is more precious the older you get. Nobodies get time to walk around the Bush for 6 months, just say what you feel and hope for the best.

See above about being oblivious.:D:rolleyes:

On the other hand, "Hey do you want to have sex" is way too strong. I wouldn't want to waste anyone's time, but we almost need an agreed on code word.

LOL!!

You seem to have forgotten the thrill of the chase, it's like a prolonged foreplay, but I'm just old-fashioned like my avi.

The chase is so important!

Umm... it's more like an introductory thing. As opposed to the endless, meaningless back-and-forth 'conversations' that happen with so many men, while i am silently screaming, OH MY GOD. GET TO THE POINT ALREADY.

I adore a good old-fashioned chase! I just don't enjoy waiting around while he decides is he wants to or not, so i nudge him a bit to help him make up his mind, one way or another.

Shit or get off the pot, you know? :D
