If he owned rental property and the tenants never paid the rent on time, and kept saying "the check is in the mail, Jesus" when it wasn't?

What is the christian thing to do?

we could buy him a drink? at Jesus I mean, to help him or a Grand Marnier, something like that...

I think that if they were Philistine's or Roman's, he would kick them out.

What if Jesus was the judge in the Westerfield case? and Westerfield begged him for forgiveness. What would he do?

"Yeah, I think Jesus is coming back. Yeah, he's coming back and he's gonna do game shows. He'll be on 'This is your Life.'...'Jesus, do you remember this sound?'.....<Hammer sound>" - Sam Kinison

Would Jesus own static property? What kind of car would he drive? I'm thinking a Buick.

God's an American after all.

"render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and unto God that which is God's."

And how would a salad help get the rent paid up?
mine is not to interpret, but only to follow blindly. Thank God, Caesar is dead and God doesn't have a PO box, mo' money... mo' money...

Is there something similar to this from a Christian perspective? Even though it is Buddhist, I expect you may get some ideas that can match your Christian belief system also.

Jesus would follow the lease...its an agreement which you gave your word to...signed your name...whatever remedy they agreed to he would do....giving them a full chance to make it right...

Jesus wouldnt own property. DUH. "Son of God" anyone? He wouldnt have to make money, drive a car, anything like that. He'd have millions of Christians at his disposal. I'd be one, yup yup.

frogs and locusts.... plagues.... a little leprosy to get them out of the house.

Thanks for all of your helpful comments.

Personally, I think Jesus would talk the bank out of collecting his mortgage.

He raised Lazarus from the dead.
He should raise the rent for the deadbeats.

Find out the reason why they can't make rent and help them to rectify the situation however he could by helping his tenants find new jobs or roommates who could help support them. He's a people person.
