Tuesday, they called for flurries...we got 4 inches.

Thursday they said 2-4 inches, we got 8.

Last nite, "light" snow 1 inch or less, we have 3.

Can anyone here say "Cabin fever"?

it would be right next to the %chance of rain dartboard...i think many times it hits the wall...so obviously....drunk...lol

When they miss the dartboard, is that when they call for F-5 storms?

Scientific American (or maybe it was Discover?) had a nice article about weather forecasting a while ago, and there was a great quote from a meteorologist that sums things up beautifully:

"It's not a question of whether or not our forecast will be right, it's a question of how wrong it will be."

Should I be concerned that I understand his logic?

The last time a man told me I'd be getting 10 inches, it turned out to be only 5.

That is what is called a lousy foreskincast

Yes! You should be very concerned whenever you understand someone else's logic. Logic is not love; logic is an excellent hammer with which to crush the enemy - one must take great care not to fall victim to the enemy's logic while crushing them.

Actually this is something i have figured out.

IRL this equals one inch on the male measuring his package scale:

[-----]

on the net it's slightly different:
one inch = [--]

This has a variance of +/- 2-

:D

From now on, I will question everything :)
