What threads and/or boards do you lurk in?

I was just thinking that I read a lot more threads than I post in. Same with boards.
I read all parody threads and the original threads. Also I follow threads on the political board and AH, but I rarely post there.
I also occasionally skim the personals to see who is posting and to have a laugh.
I tend to follow my old Lit friends' posts through various boards too when I have time.
I was wondering if others do the same and what threads they follow.

I glance at the playground but it scrolls to fast for me to keep track of threads.

I always look at the faces of people from lit thread there when it shows up. I never comment though. I should probably subscribe to it. I tend not to subscribe to anything.

I try to read the fetish area. I try to be open minded but it is always the same people with the same weird fantases that would never happen and probably shouldn't happen.

I read the BDSM board but I don't comment. I always feel like I might be intruding a bit if I did.

I lurk in the BDSM forum and when I seen an interesting post I'll comment. I also lurk in the GB, which has become slightly annoying lately with the banning threads. :)

Hiya Noor :)

Just the GB, I tend to read way more than I post.

Any thread where Eyer was poking people with a stick would get my first glance.
I must be entertained!

The ISO blurt has become geriatric but I still glance.

Your Food thread.

Current event threads.

sometimes i follow random threads down the rabbit hole, find a poster, stalk them a bit. read some of the threads they've posted in. move on. i used to love picture threads, but have most gb pic thread starters on iggy now. i don't bother much with them anywhere else. sometimes i'll remove images, just to remove images from everything. stick it to the type. there are exceptions.

on occasion i read through BDSM talk. fetish cafe. the am pic thread or two. darkroom lounge, when i want the feeling of wading through a cum soaked lair. how-to makes me want to punch people, so i don't go there often. i used to read the News and Issues, but i just realized it's been just after the creation of the politics board that i've read there.

Wherever I can smell drama. On a slow night I'll wander away from here to the How-to or Playground if there's an actual conversation going on. Or a good flame out.

I used to glance at Am pics years ago, but stopped when I recognized a couple guys.

It's very disconcerting when you recognize a chest you know or have known.
I don't want to ever be in the position of recognizing some friend's husband there.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be recognizing friends chests, but I think I'd laugh myself silly if I did discover one. I'd stalk their posts for sure!

I'm more of a lurker that hasn't been putting any time in lately. Even the drama of late hasn't stirred me enough to care.

Yes, I am feeling kind of dead about the current drama.

Ever since GFY made me laugh on my never should have posted anything/lose it on Byron thread, I have followed some of their non sexual picture threads. Occasionally I post, but I usually don't. The first time I ever saw GFY post words, it was in response to me.

GFY has words???

They crack me up in some of the picture responses in non-picture threads. Especially in threads by that Mike Yates character.

Byron's response was "you can speak?" or something like that. He was totally shocked.

Sometimes I just click on new posts and read whatever title sounds interesting without looking at the forum. It can be quite surprising at times :)

Doesn't that just drown you in 'poster above you' and ABC threads?

It would shock me only a little bit to see someone I know casually in real life, like from the office or something, letting their freak flag fly in the AmPics.

I wouldn't blow up their spot, though. People need their outlets.

I read and post here and in the BDSM threads. A couple times, I've clicked accidentally on new posts and found myself in other forums (I think Fetish and Sexuality had threads that interested me and I posted). I have lurked in the politics board. Reading the personals can be fun (especially BDSM), but I wonder if anyone has had success there.

???????????

There arent any!

I read this thread, but I'm not a very good lurker.

When I first got here I really wasn't aware there were different boards, I'd just hit "new post" and respond to whatever I liked.

It's really not viable to do that anymore because the board isn't as active as it was, and hitting new post is mostly going to get playground or picture threads, and so I'm mostly just refreshing the GB links.

Mostly hung out in the Author's Hangout, moved to the GB, met prodigiously wonderful people and had excellent conversations on the BDSM board.

I probably haven't posted in Chyoo?

Technically likely a lurker on Reddit and Tumblr more than I am here. I don't post a ton of my own content.

Reddit gets thoroughly ignored at times until now, when a specific game has released and I can go blather with co-enthusiasts.

Since canceling my cable, I don't see commercials, I need word of mouth places to introduce me to new content, so that's a lot of my Tumblr experience in fandoms.

I look for opportunities to toss dead cats into sanctuaries where I hear the dulcet tones of choirs singing from the same score. A choir is always a conspiracy against free speech. A choir is always a gang of thugs.

When I became a psychotherapist I stopped responding to patients with open-ended statements, and said shit like SO WHAT? and YOU BORE THE SHIT OUTTA ME. Such responses grab people by their tits.

95% of posters are brain dead and the BIRDBRAINIAC is their queen.

I don't even know who BIRDBRANIAC is, and I'm betting ignorance is bliss in this case.

I will always be grateful to Lit for introducing me to new media content and to the brains of amazing people.

Not everyone is amazing, mileage will vary.
