I guess all music is embarrasing because it's such an extension of your personality; and I like TMBG?

As a CD, not so embarassing.

Now, as a fashion statement....

ok but....

What I call embarrasing is when I don't want people to hear it when the top is off my Jeep!!
Can you imagine?
"I'm just a sweet transvestite......"
I don't think that will leave the house:)

PJ Harvey, "Is This Desire?"

I love "The Rocky Horror PictureShow," they always play it on Halloween at the college, and we all dress up and bring waterguns and rice, etc... nothing better than a little All Hallow's Eve fun.

Are you one of those.....

creepy goth people? What is the purpose of all that black anyway?

SONG/CD I LISTEN TO REGULARY

WELL MY FAVERITE SONG IS DARLIN BY BONNIE RAITT
MOST THE TIME IS ANYTHING WITH A GOOD BEAT I HATE RAP MUSIC.

I listen to everything from Peggy Lee (bet very few know who she is ) to A. Mann and the Chemical Brothers. Currently loaded into the six disc is Chemical bro surrender, Limp Bizkit, Rage against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails and Blur. Figure that out. BTW PJ harvey has some stuff that is awesome. I like early Patti Smith too.

In the car I have Beefheart and Zappa and of course the wonderful Tom Waits

I'm trying really hard to think of a CD that I'm embarrassed to admit listening too - though some of my first choices would be quite obscure probably - I don't find embarrassment in them... Hmmmm... I've got a collection CD that has Mississipi Queen on it - I love that song... is that close?

BTW - re: Rocky Horror - I bought the anniversary DVD and it's fantastic - has a deleted scene and you can have it show the audience cues on screen (words and when to throw what!) and there is a "live" version taped from the back of a theatre in England so you can watch the stage show going on in front of the movie. I love the songs, the movie and Tim Curry is just fantastic... perhaps we should all dress up Rocky Horror style in Vegas?

Beefheart and Zappa... now you're talking... those are on my list of NEVER get tired of listening too. Tom Waits as well (not to as great an extent).

And yes, early Patti Smith too - I saw her at an outdoor concert 1977 I think with Lenny Kaye on guitar - it was incredible.

eddie and the cruisers

who are in actuality
john cafferty and the beaver brown band

Oh man, I didn't even go there...

One day I popped out my cartridge because I realized I had Dreamgirls, The Wiz (play not movie), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat AND Pippin all loaded.

Then again, the other two CDs were Limp Bizkit and Dr. Dre...

On a first date, I would never fess up to listening to......The Spice Girls.

What can I say, they have good music, and I know both albums by heart, lol.

We have a winner here !!!
