has soured? Whether it be a strictly platonic relationship or a sexual one? Are the signs the same?

Talks become fewer, and those that do take place, is being very unpleasant and bitchy.

[thinking to myself]
....and here I thought koala's were such nice, friendly creatures...

Same as any other relationship...
Lack of communication being the biggest indicator..

*No* communication is a form of communication.

Sometimes though, people are just busy and kinda wrapped up within their own lives.
And in that case, stay in tune with the vibes the other gives off when you are in communication.

Funny thing about koalas

But, they smell kinda medicinal :)

Okay seriously, though. I would think the relationship has gone off when you are put on ignore, and all your pm's are blocked and your email comes back to you. Of course, I think it could be salvaged amicably before this point so...

:)

When he starts posting pissy answers to you

:p

It is when......

you give her a very passionate kiss :* , one that normally would tingle her down to her very toes......... and "Hmmmmm" is all you hear.............

Well, that, and she threatens to fly over to your house and burn it down.......... ;)

When you virtual lover gets jealous over your virtual cheat and threatens to tell your husband?

*shrugs*

I guess when I no longer get any PMs or emails from someone who used to do both quite regularly. Must be me, I guess. I've had this happen recently with 3 or 4 people.

Ha. I think you have to have PM's or emailed first before you can actually stop doing it. But thanks.

I'm guessing the same way you can tell when a "real" relationship has passed its expiration date...

little or no communication, or what communication there is, is stilted or forced sounding.

The best way to tell though, would be to actually ask the person if they're no longer interested in a relationship.

I'm in agreement with lack of communication being a strong indication that something is wrong. When one of the pair gets very "quiet" with their responses, and you feel that disconnected feeling inside.

I pretty much agree with most, communication gradually fades. The hot, I want to jump your bones, style of communication in the early days of the relationship, fades to the routine, day to day stuff. Then gradually disappears. Much like a real life relationship.

Okay...I could almost buy into this, I could easily play it into my mood, But what if they're just fucking busy??? They have other pressing matters at hand? Work, home, their life...and they can't find the time at the moment to sit down and play at their pc? I find that I get really busy at time and I can't sit down here, but I would like to think that the one special person who holds my attention would take those things into consideration...

Exactly, being in the cyber world is different as you put everything else on hold to be on here. Life doesnt stop and let you email or im when you want to. I have 3 kids,a house to clean and things to do,if by chance I am not on the net, there is a good reason, considering my addiction to my computer.

When you are in a relationship on the net,and they stop really paying you any attention, thats when you know its over. I dont mean by not answering you,but when they do answer, its not the same as it was. And you can always tell when that happens.
