What makes you decide to post there?

I don't know if this has been done before, so decided to try this.


Why do people post to some threads and not to others?


My reason for posting is...

1. If it is a thread I started
2. If it is a thread a friend started
3. If I like the idea of the thread.
4. If I think the thread looks fun.

Morning Rosy. Good question. I think what makes me decide to post there is seeing people I have talked to before. Also an invitation never hurts. I'm still a newbie by all means and don't know that many people here so I'm kinda shy about just jumping into a thread. But if I peek in and see fun and something that grabs my interest, I'll post. Otherwise I just lurk and move on.

4) i took over the thread
5) i felt like saying something

why i don't post?
1) did once no one posted back
2) doesn't interest me
3) boring, dumb or immature (and not the fun kind)
4) too many guys's dicks as av's lol

2. Someone needs help and I can
3. The idea catches my interest
4. The devil makes me do it, lol.

I don't post when:

1. People are flaming
2. It seems more harmful the helpful
3. Opposing view points don't seem welcome
4. It's a stupid site

2) I like the participants
3) support a friend's thread
4) to thank someone for sharing (i.e. pics, poems, etc)
5) sometimes, just to solicit a response

I don't post b/c

1) not interested in the topic
2) is a place where someone I have a special friendship with can feel free to post and play and I do not wish to intrude
3) I do not believe that my post will contribute anything
4) I do not like the participants

Same for me.

Sometimes I'll chase a friend to a new thread and then make some new friends.

And occasionally I'll post on a thread on the GENERAL Board just to create some controversy and piss off some of those "superior" types over there.
