What made you smile or laugh today? Part III

I was in shower and all of a sudden I remembered a song I wrote in highschool for a musical we did. I went digging through my old archives and found a recording of it and many other music projects I've done over the years.

Calling the so at the lunch take and calling her by a pet name. The co-workers smiled.

Last night at dinner I asked the waiter to describe the lamb chops using his hands :p
He said... we can do the whole thing that way if you want  :D
What?! Charades dinner?! Yes please yes please!!
Dinner was awesome, dessert was particularly interesting, and lots of laughs all the way around (even the other tables).

1) chattering
2) mariachi band
3) funny little cartoons

(*^_^*) I suppose four is that tonight I'm just happy in general and not trying to remind myself that things are good.

Spent some of the day with my 2 nursing buds.
Inappropriate topics were discussed, and laughing ensued.

Oh and the husband got a denial letter from the loan company. Hooray! :D

Listening to a six-CD gothic epic, full of Very Serious Lyrics about doom and horror, and I get to this lyric:

Ein Sturm weht aus den Höllenschlünden
Wohl aus narrativen Gründen
Um die Szene kalt zu unterstreichen
Und es erbebt der dunkle Turm

which is something like:

a storm is blowing from Hell's maw
Probably for narrative reasons
to emphasize coldness of this scene

and it shakes the dark tower

Of all the places to break the fourth wall...

Girly chats.
Painting different nails different colours.
The sun on a crisp day.
The new season of Strictly :D

My Bff looking like a lil kid under my fruit tree. She had this grin on her face like it was Christmas and Santa had loaded her up. I took pics it was so cute.

"Is there anything more beautiful
than to gently whisper these
famous three words into the ear
of your partner after the sex:
Who are you?"

Sunny skies and the yearly herring fair.

When at the fair, we ran into someone J went to university with. Turned out I went to highschool with the guy, too. Small world. I didn't remember him at all, but he remembered my name and everything. It was a bit unnerving. He and his girlfriend have moved nearby, so we made plans to get together at some point. It was especially funny that it happened, because I had only a few minutes earlier told J that we should invite someone over so that I have a reason to try a new recipe. :)

Heated discussions at 0100 about what kind of joint a knee is.
It causes 3 inch ring binders of notes and various nursing texts being tossed around.
And mild screaming.

Why the hell do you have a book comparing machines to parts of the body?

That's almost as weird as the How to Read a Book book.

IT'S A HINGE JOINT.

Like I told you the first time

Nah.

It's clearly a ball & socket joint that never got told to believe it itself.
You're just adding to this poor joint's internal confusion by reinforcing these terrible negative stereotypes.

OH MY GOD CON
He's gonna see this and get that damn smug look on his face.

I have 5 daggum books that say it's a hinge joint.
Stop it.
