Yep - agreed. Everybody knows who I have a crush on, but they may not know the others I have had crushes on (and still do to some degree, but except for menage a trois, I am pretty much a one woman man) - but most of them know who they are.

Others, like Myst, I could develop a crush on because they are phsyically beautiful and have a nice personality, but they are attached to someone already, and I do not want to interfere with that relationship.

So, what is required? In order of importance:

1) Availability: if they are married, or living more than a thousand miles away and there is no probability of relocation (for either of us), then why go further?

2) Personality and views. She has to be nice, understanding and patient. She has to agree with me on the important things (e.g., being a Christian, I doubt I could ever develop a crush on someone who had religious views that didn't coincide with mine).

3) Maturity. As I have said elsewhere recently - this is not really about age, although there is often a correlation - it is about mental maturity.

4) She is comfortable with herself sexually and we are compatible sexually (e.g., I am not a Dom, although I could play one - but I am certainly not a sub, and I couldn't even play at being one - a Dom female probably isn't going to work for me).

5) Physical beauty - yes, I need that chemistry, and no "inner beauty" is not enough - sorry.
