I would note that each of those counts he faces carries a maximum ten-year sentence. Ordinary people have gone to prison for such.

I knew all along that Hunter didn't pay shit, a friend did. He admitted it in court and told the judge he hadn't yet made a payment on the "loan" made by a Hollywood Attorney, Kevin Morris, that paid for part of his tax bill. Leave it to you to construe events and postings the "wrong way."

I’d be surprised if it goes to trial. There is no question of guilt or innocence about lying on the forms. As far as the possession charge, would they really argue the NRA position against Dad’s position? My bet is a guilty plea to two felony counts with 2-3 years probation. He’ll be a convicted felon the rest of his life.

The gun charges are felonies. Anyone who believes more gun control laws are needed ought to agree that existing laws must be enforced.
