What do you call a POTUS that can get an infrastructure deal done?

Apparently Corny wasn't listening to all those members of Congress who said they were working on Biden's plans.

Such empty sour grapes from the board Trumpettes. The Republicans screwed up their chance to work at taking major credit for the infrastructure legislation their constituents want and need rather than opposing it (and, in Trump's case, talking big and doing nothing).

A major stupidity of the bill's Republican opponents in Congress was not in watching what McConnell did. He worked against it and then was smart and voted for it. He can go back to his constituents with a smile on his face.

Ah, true. But Biden laid the infrastructure map plan and congress did what it did.

Biden didn't do shit... he's a barely functioning mouthpiece with little to no say so in anything. :)

No I heard all the Biden ball slurping.

Doesn't change how our government works and that it is almost ENTIRELY the congress critters who did that, not Biden.

Every president for the last 60 years has passed feel good legislation.

Shielding congress from taking responsibility for their doing.

Oh yea drastically cutting supply and intentionally incurring extra restrictions and costs on the fossil fuel industry as a whole could NEVER raise prices!!!

They have no doubt been just a belligerent and hostile to their energy sector as our beloved Democrats have.

They've all been at these climate summit's promising each other to do exactly that for the last several years. Trump showing up in 2016 and them all to get fucked and that we weren't going to do any of that dumb shit had the world clutching their pearls.

When Orange Hitler approved all the pipelines and drilling they lost their god damn minds....

Declared the keystone pipeline white supremacy like a bunch of total schizoid whack jobs.....

Then protested and proceeded to polluted/trashed the place like never before in the process.

Bunch of clowns.....

(D)'eez get in office, and do all the hostile things towards the fossil fuel industry as a whole that they and the asians n' Europeans all wanted to do and hated Trump so much for not doing......and ya'll think it's Trumps fault prices on fossil fuels and everything produced/transported by them is up.

LOL.... bunch of clowns. :D

Oh, so it's not the pipeline, it's because everyone hates trump. Lol

Ooo, ooo, yes, I hate Trump. Not all that fond of Corny, either. Both of them are total assholes. Of the two, though, Trump actually has significance. Corny doesn't. :D

This is a thing worth doing that happened on Biden's watch, and could not have on a Republican's.

It would have been a lot better without all the social equity bullshit they call "infrastructure" lol....but yea.

Republicans are largely fucking worthless.

They do kinda keep the left in check though.

They should do better.

Let’s see what makes it through before your dripping condescension gets a bow.

By the way, you kind of reek of insecurity, so you might want to rethink your posting style.

Totally adorable how you believe Democrats will deliver on health care for the American people. What's Santa bringing you this year? A bike? A sled maybe?

The pharmaceuticals and health products industry has donated more than $5.9 million to Biden's presidential campaign, according to OpenSecrets.org, a site run by the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks political donations.

Former Vice President Joe Biden suggested that he would veto the universal health-care legislation known as “Medicare for All” championed by his Democratic presidential primary rival Sen. Bernie Sanders, citing costs.

The reason this sort of thing is so politically difficult is that spending money on infrastructure repair and maintenance isn't sexy. A pol can get a photo op out of cutting the ribbon on a new bridge -- but not out of fixing an existing one.

A congressional Democrat could. Congressional Republicans who voted against the bill will undoubtedly try, but should be called out for it in their photo captions.

The board Trumpettes should be denied access to anything repaired under the bill.

There's nothing special about Washington DC throwing trillions of dollars
at problems that they have no idea about how to solve and then
proclaiming to their mind-numbed robots that they have
"won" themselves some life-changing change
that they can believe in.

And then they vote the rascals out of office once they figure out the boondoggle
and its built-in payoffs and meaningless projects targeted at partisan voting bases
whether or not they ever have, or even can, demonstrate any need for the largess.

This is exactly the mentality that I just elucidated.
It's about rewarding your voters and
punishing everyone else...

:(

Shallow, destructive, even vindictive thinking that passes for the greater good of the public weal.

This would happen if the country was allowed to break up. Progressive states would have the right to progress at their choice of speed. Retard states would only have themselves to blame. Win win

But dribble, the problem is they know what happens when California has to raise massive taxes against Californians for that UHC free to any an all who show up with their hands out for all the wonderful free everything....at the expense of Californians.

:D

They know it would hollow out those states rather rapidly.

That's why they are so insistent they force things federally on all 50 states.

Gotta spread that cost out, otherwise CA/NY will just implode into state sized Detroit.... as everyone with the means to leave, does.

This is why the more "progressive" a state is the more it does everything they can to keep people from leaving and their people have to flee under duress and threat of punishment/death. They need the slave labor to support all that "progress" :D

So what do you folks think of those sensible Republicans that voted for the bill?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Good!

I think they should take the $1.7 trillion from the "Social Infrastructure" boondoggle bill they found laying around, and move it over to the physical infrastructure bill.

This is double Obama's $787 billion American Reinvestment and Recovery Act which accomplished nothing.

How is that progressivism working out in CA?
