What Did You LEARN today?

That no matter what you have ever learned about one woman's psyche and motivations, those preconceptions cannot be logically applied to any other woman (maybe not so much learned, as re-confirmed). Men are so simple: fuck me feed me.

Pineapple eats you back.

I may need to watch M. Night Shama%#*^ movie The Happening, again. Fruit might be the start of the zombie apocalypse. Oh the irony.

That I need to be a bit more watchful for the black widow spiders.

That I am much better at biting my tongue than I gave myself to credit for.

Reconfirmed that pressing on to completion of a task is more satisfying than the despair in the middle when encountering obstacles. Just do it.

Elves don’t put up Christmas trees. Even when bribed with cookies.

I learned the obvious around here......just a little late since I don't venture into that area

That my Irish bitch temper can still be provoked by another bitch or asshole in the right circumstances. Especially when she is grabbing a handicapped parking space when there is obviously nothing wrong with her. One of my pet peeves.

I learned that things will come along your way to test your strength and wisdom, and it just makes you stronger when you learn how to deal with those bumps

I also learned, that hubby really likes yoga pants...lol

I learned that people who daydream tend to be more intelligent ( than what?). Ha! Of that’s true then I should be a genius.

I also learned that I shouldn’t get so lost in my thoughts that I don’t pay attention to what I’m doing.

That pisses me off too, when someone takes a disabled space who shouldn't. But. Not all disabilities are 'visible' ...

This is true...my mother had a disabled decal because she suffered from cardiac issues but you wouldn't have known that simply by looking at her.

I learned that time is precious and that it should never be taken for granted. Do all the things you want to do now, plan for those things or at least want to do it, wish for it to happen.

Take time to meditate, relax, contemplate and appreciate all that you have. Gratitude will get you very far in life.

Spend time with your family and let them know you love them. Do the best you can at things...and just love life.

*thoughts of the day*

I have learnt that my phone keyboard supports the usage of both the em and en dashes. No more copy-pasting!

Expectations only lead to disappointment.

So, don’t have expectations! Then everything will be a surprise!

Today I learned that in the UK a hip replacement patient in her seventies is given a leaflet explaining which sexual positions are safe to use, post-operatively :)
