I read someone the lyrics of a song I wrote, and she cried and then looked further into my work. I’ve now been commissioned to write her a children’s story, which is amazing as I haven’t had the opportunity to do any professional writing in around six years! Hopefully this is the start of me kickstarting something I enjoy again.

Thank you! I’ve published privately commissioned stories before, but it’s been a while! I’m looking forward to getting back into it! Hoping to write more for myself/publication rather than for private commission, but it feels like this commission reminded me of something I’d forgotten about myself, so it’s an exciting project!
