What Are You Listening to Now 7.0

I tend to go back on a lot of different artists.
Right now I've been listening to The Pretty Reckless
Taylor Momsen is a great rock singer and she's not even 30 yet.
If all goes well they could be one of the greatest rock bands out there, in my opinion.

I clicked on it.

You are judged.

Mind you, if I didn't have the god-awful visual and just heard the voice and piano, it might be different. Cheap Trick did that schtick way better.

Sometimes a metal band has to get creative in brutalising their audience. Fake blood and death growls are so last year. Golf pants and Disney covers are where it's at.

To be fair, that's a special occasion. This is more normal attire: https://i.pinimg.com/474x/d1/6b/d0/d16bd0d60a9f405a40b28cac86cc9a3e.jpg
Now that I can sort of handle. I like the Lou Reed tribute/pastiche (I'm guessing with these guys, it's hard to say?).

Reminds me of a house-mate from the eighties - he had the biggest metal collection I'd ever seen (Blind Justice and yourself would consider it vintage), yet his favourite female singer was Stevie Nicks. Go figure!

It's a fine fine line. I haven't heard them mention Lou Reed, but their influences/collaborations are all over the place so it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

The guy on the left is channelling Lou in his stance, Transformer era make-up and hair, and the black t-shirt. Musically, I wouldn't have a clue.

Musically: death metal, classical symphony, salsa, pop, ballads, country, electro, hymns, a cappella, that sort of thing.

The Pineapple Thief : Versions of the Truth

Saw them live about 10 years ago. Great show!

Blitzkrieg Bop - Ramones

New earwig, been playing in my head since I watch Spiderman Homecoming.

A Scandroid playlist to go along with my writing.

Earlier today, I introduced my lady love to Karfagen. Thanks, Neil!

Declan O'Rourke’s Galileo (Someone Like You)

Who puts the rainbow in the sky?
Who lights the stars at night?
Who dreamt up someone so divine?
Someone like you and made them mine?
Someone like you and made them mine?

What about 'earworms'? Is that a German thing only? Super-catchy songs you won't get rid of are called "Ohrwurm", literally "earworm" in German.

Earwigs, earworms, same thing. There is something in your head just playing away and suddenly you start singing. Then when people tell you to shut up cause you can't sing worth a shit, you bring it up on your phone, tablet, or computer and listen to it continuously until your a sick of it. At least for a little while.

Although earwigs is a police thing, that they wear in their ear to have other people talk to them. But it could also mean a song stuck in your head.
