What are we all writing right now?

To piggyback off @EmilyMiller ... I'm currently taking on what might be my most complicated story yet: Part 3 of my own Angels & Demons Saga.

What's so complicated about it? Oh, not much really. Just attempting to write the origins of Heaven, Hell, and the Universe.

Piece of cake, right?
It should be easy. None of the original source material worried much about things like internal consistency, so no reason why you should.

The great feedback on my femdom story (https://literotica.com/s/a-samurais-punishment) has changed some of my writing plans.

So now I'm going to give femdom another try, with a longer story, with more plot and character development. In this case, an arranged marriage in a feudal society, where the man has all the power publicly/politically, with his wife dominating him sexually. Exploring various power dynamics and having a strong male submit willingly to his wife. Diving into the contradictions and tensions between the public and private aspects of the relationship, and how their unusual arrangement blossoms into deep, romantic love.

Been a lot of fun to write so far, we'll see how it goes.

Too easily distracted, still struggling to get into my story for the Pink Orchid event

Editing, and partly rewriting my old lesbian series, which is now going to be my old/new fetish series. The first part is going live tomorrow... or today, depending on the time zone.

In the ongoing efforts to relieve the tedium of the endless AI-related discussions, let's talk about our ongoing projects. What have you got in your Drafts folder?

I'll go first:
- A gritty sci-fi western about a bandit and a bounty hunter on a mining planet (working title: Clever Fox and Tombstone Eyes)
- E/V: two mature women talk on the phone as they ogle the young gardener (A Shared Experience)
- A Regency story in the style of Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen about a party that isn't quite as innocent as it seems (Mrs Danbury's Party)
- I/T: two girls disagree about whether the brother of one of them has the largest cock they've seen (My Sister Loses A Bet)
- Also I/T: another instalment in my "Too Cold Not to Fuck" series (Too Late Not to Fuck)
- Mind control: an office worker finds an experimental thought control device (The Office Fuck-Up)
- A novel-length story about my sword & sorcery characters Avilia and Sligh
- A dark fantasy story about a demon hunter and his apprentice, set in Germany during the Thirty Years' War
- And a few files that are little more than story titles: Happily Orgy After, News Girl Nance, The Night Became Her Lover
This story has been percolating in my head for several years, but reading a story in either fetish or LW, forget which, has me finally putting it to paper. Apparently, there were three fairly large studies (one mentioned 100,000 couples, one from Berkley and don't remember where the other two originated. Two studies were fairly close (within 1%), and the other was an outlier. The studies said that in long term marriages with multiple children, two studies said that in 14-15% of those, at least one child was not the biological offspring of the husband. The other study said it was closer to 18%. And, most often it was the second child. The study, diving deeper, found a lot of minor reasons, including revenge, etc, but the biggest reason, they said, was what they called biological imperative. Other prior studies of college age women, showed that during their fertile period, even if on birth control, the women dressed showing more skin, and tended to be attracted to and danced with, and hooked up with "alpha" type men.

The researchers' conclusion is that, at the marriage point, love, future security, a safe place to raise a family were the primary considerations. By the time of the second child time, her biological imperative (quite often subconscious) has her hedging her bets on the success of her offspring, has her body looking at those "alpha males".

The way I have this laid out, it will probably be a 4 or 5 chapter story, and I have never even done a multi before.

Yep, it's a doddle. Milton did it, blindfolded. Well, blind, anyway. William Blake had a go, too, with illustrations. And the bloke who wrote Genesis, whoever that was - probably the same chap who stacked elephants on turtles. To give himself a break from Sundays, I guess. You'll be fine!

Yeah, I'm consulting with @Omenainen as to the possibility of getting a 25k plus Part One into this year's Pink Orchid event, with a promise of a Part Two as soon as I can finish it. It's been an on again, off again WIP since last April, and I don't react well to deadlines.

Remember, the number 42 is involved somehow as an answer to a very important question. And God has something to do with it. Not sure exactly what, but something. Heh.

I managed to work a 42 reference into my story The White Room Revisited. We'll see if I can sneak it in here 😏.

A story about a girl who has recently gone blind. Extremely depressing.
Sometimes I name the characters something that works for a good title too, intentionally. For example, I am currently working on a story about a blind girl. So I intentionally named her Faith so that I could name the story Blind Faith.
Finally finished this tale, which I have been working on since the summer season. Despite all my efforts, I am not thrilled with how it turned out, but enough is enough. It was time to publish it and move on. At least the final version turned out a lot less depressing than some of the earlier drafts.

Now, I'm starting 'early' on the April Fool's contest. A dark carnival sort of tale, about trickery, deception and haunting delights. Might be my first entry into the Erotic Horror category, but time will tell. Once that is sorted, I'll return to something more light-hearted from my earlier list, I think.

I'm looking forward to reading this!

I'm tackling the issue of AI messing with images/videos released to the Internet in a story, possibly titled "Oh, Well," which should indicate the way the story will go.

Im still working on part 3 of my Angels & Demons Saga, the fantasy universe created by and shared with @EmilyMiller

4.7k words in and I feel like I'm just getting started. This may wind up being the longest thing I've ever written.

The process has been slow. I feel like Andy Dufresne, slowly chipping my way out of Shawshank one pocket full of gravel at a time.

From what I’ve seen, it will be worth the wait, hun 😊.

If I'm not mistaken, you're trying to recompose a nonsectarian origin for the universe. Take all the time you need. :)
