In the ongoing efforts to relieve the tedium of the endless AI-related discussions, let's talk about our ongoing projects. What have you got in your Drafts folder?

I'll go first:
- A gritty sci-fi western about a bandit and a bounty hunter on a mining planet (working title: Clever Fox and Tombstone Eyes)
- E/V: two mature women talk on the phone as they ogle the young gardener (A Shared Experience)
- A Regency story in the style of Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen about a party that isn't quite as innocent as it seems (Mrs Danbury's Party)
- I/T: two girls disagree about whether the brother of one of them has the largest cock they've seen (My Sister Loses A Bet)
- Also I/T: another instalment in my "Too Cold Not to Fuck" series (Too Late Not to Fuck)
- Mind control: an office worker finds an experimental thought control device (The Office Fuck-Up)
- A novel-length story about my sword & sorcery characters Avilia and Sligh
- A dark fantasy story about a demon hunter and his apprentice, set in Germany during the Thirty Years' War
- And a few files that are little more than story titles: Happily Orgy After, News Girl Nance, The Night Became Her Lover

I have a pair of SciFi stories cooling their heels, but I really would like to make them a trilogy - but I have no idea yet what the third part is about.

Have done a lot more editing than writing lately, which has been fun as well.

Pandaemonium, with a real departure into unknown territory. 10k into it, and so far I reckon the first edit will drop that down to about 8k. Plot wise I suspect I'm about half way in.

I've also got a straight-out porno type scene about a quarter of the way to cumpletion. I'm enjoying not worrying too much about motivation and characterisation (beyond the basics), and transitioning from plot to kink and vice versa.

- Entry for the June sports event (in final edit)
- Entry for the April "On the Job" event (also in final edit)
- "Group Sex Pending", Part 1 of 2 of a Super Bowl party (90% in draft)
- "Game, Commercials, or ME?" (test title), Part 2 of 2 of the Super Bowl party (just started)
- "Letters from Home", catching up with sexy friends left behind

In the "Off Campus" series (modern harem and group sex):
- Installment 5, Chapters 1-5 and 7-12 in final edit, Chapter 6 in rewrite
- Installment 6 (series final), Chapters 1-16 in progress, final scene done

The last chapter of Installment 6 was written a year ago. I don't know if I'm altogether happy with knowing what the end is and writing the "glue" to get there. The rest of the story sort of grew organically.

A university nostalgia story for the Pink Orchid collection. I'm twenty something thousand words in, and am determined to get it finished for this year's deadline.

I've started on my Mickey Spillane sequel, which might get finished this year, might not. Dan and the Art Game, with Ruby and her sister, Becca. Detective Simmons, who is @SimonDoom's cameo role, will get a walk on towards the end.

I've also got about 5k words on my Geek Anthology follow up, but it's for the 2021 collection, so...

Working slowly on a piece about a performer trying to revive a band after a tragedy, while dealing with terrifying drop bears. Working title "Tits and Sympathy".

 

[Sinstories]

Follow up (five years later) to a previous series. Was planning on it being a single piece, but either I'll need to do a follow up to the follow up or will have to call it a day after the first major event. Thinking the follow up to the follow up would work as it would allow me to focus it on the exploits of the older sister who was somewhat of an afterthought in the series but has a lot of promise as a character.

I have a new beta reader who's (a) female and (b) into power dymanics. She reviewed two of my WIPs and gave me great ideas for slowing the pacing down, dragging out the build-up, and adding new elements. I don't have experience from either a fantasy standpoint or a writing standpoint for power and control. I think it translates well even though I feel like a fraud going into that type of story. I expect to post sooner than later for ya'll's enjoyment.

I'd really like to write one for the 2024 Geek Pride event about a young woman who goes into the woods at dawn to sketch insects and flowers. She's very intense about her hobbies and knows all the latin/scientic terminology for the insects and vegetation. She can't drive a car, so her jerky twin brother drives her and teases her about "taking her hobbies too seriously". She goes into the woods and strips naked in a meadow to dance while the sun rises. Enter Apollo, Greek God of the sun.

I haven't decided what category to choose... I think I/T MMF would be fun, but I also think the it would be fun if the jerky brother stumbles upon them and watches. Apollo's twin sister Artemis (she's sworn to chastity) could also show up and watch.

I'm a big mythology nerd and I'm pretty excited about this idea.

I'm also working on one about about a married couple who get it on in a closet at the husband's grandma's 95th birthday party.

- part 5 of Vacation with the Marshals
- a 750-worder that I should probably mess with a little bit before I submit
- tabled for the moment, the Christmas story I was too slow to finish for last year, want to make sure I don't forget about it for the whole year
- somewhere in there is a draft of a follow-up to The Work Trip; not sure if I'll ever actually get to that though. It's been too long, that series might just be ready to put to bed. We'll see.
- several other partial starts, several other idea swimming around in there

Category-wise, just about everything is E/V. I'm not in any danger of being identified as a versatile writer, in terms of my erotica. (This list is obscenely long if you start getting into my non-erotic writing projects.)

Very intrigued by these and will have to check them out when they drop. Been doing some reading on the Thirty Years War myself as research for a potential future project (albeit in a fantasy world embroiled in its own version of the conflict)

an Epic Fantasy novel,
a series about an exclusive girls school for 'Exceptional' young women(Transgender),
a story about a young man that discovers he has magic and gets a sentient dragon tattoo name Mia with a very nasty attitude(yes in that way) as a sigil,
a traditional romance novel that I need to finish editing,
and a magical realism thing about a girl that sort of becomes the physical manifestation of a(the) cat god.
Not to mention(except I am) the half dozen stories I have sitting in my Pending folder just waiting for the right time to publish...

Oh, yeah, I got inspired and did another 750 word piece yesterday that is our for a quick beta read before I submit.
