Weather

Last week high 80s, this week low 50s rain with a little hail mixed in, snow in the higher elevations. Next week? Who knows.

As we are coming into winter we expect the temperatures to be falling but it's the tropical cyclones moving down from Vanuatu, noumea and Fiji that give me the heebie jeebies.

Have the cyclones come and gone? I hope all is well in your part of the world.

Yes, fortunately they had run out of steam by the time they hit NZ all we got was some extremely heavy rain that persisted for a couple of days.

So glad to say it got above freezing today! I am so tired of cold and snow, yet today is the first official day of winter. Guess it's gonna be a long one. *Sigh* I miss the south.

Come on back down then. Where in Louisiana were you? I'm assuming you were here given your screen name. I'm just outside of New Orleans.

That would be nice for memorial day weekend! Alas.... maybe next year.

Street dance in Albany Friday night ... some kind of yesteryear even. Saturday parade and more festivities... Should be a good time.

Hey Dr? Do you remember what time of year it was when we snagged the tadpoles? I just got a huge aquarium and I think I want to raise some frogs so the kid that killed the last ones can visit them and see them make it to foggy life

It was in June. Paradise Spring's, I think.

Spoke to a call center agent who was in Nova Scotia. She said they got over 100mm of rain last week and they were still waiting for the river levels to drop. Crap. Feel bad for the residents of the Toronto island who are under evacuation alert as we got another 30 off mm of rain yesterday. Hope the summer arrives soon.
