...Expect high water along streams of the Susitna Valley...
Warm temperatures and freezing levels 9000-11000 ft through the
middle of this coming week (6/25) will increase glacier and high
elevation snowmelt on the Yentna River and other predominantly
glacier fed rivers in the Susitna Valleys. Bankfull river levels
are expected on Yentna River and some minor overbank flooding of
low lying areas is possible early next week.
Other glacier fed rivers in the Upper Susitna are rising steadily
and will continue to rise steadily including the Chulitna, East
and West Forks of the Susitna River.
