Wax Play...have you tried it?

Where did you drip the wax? What part of your body?

I remember it was always recommended to use church candles as they burn cleanly and not too high a temperature, though other candles didn't seem to be any different and you can adjust the height they drip from, anyway.

Then I met a priest who was kinky as hell and sold candles...

Be very careful with wax play. It can result in severe burns.
If you want to try wax play, be sure to use a low temperature wax and to drop/drip wax from high. Be careful to pour off any accumulated melted wax before dripping wax onto the recipient. Begin by dripping from high. You can come closer as the two of you recognize the temperature of the drops and the sensitivity of the recipient. Be VERY careful with accumulated or poured wax as it can be very hot.
Much of what you see online is risky. The photo above this post could result in severe burns if it was done with a wax with a high melting point.

I'm glad you explained why we shouldn't use the accumulated wax, but it should be okay if it's done from a distance, correct?

I've done it to a lady once. Didn't do anything for me, but she apparently enjoyed it. I also rubbed an ice cube around the wax. The heat versus cold increases the intensity. One problem I had, is she was sitting and I got her hair on fire a few times. I think if I did it again, she'd be laying down, not sitting.

I don't know about this one. I always think of wax play as something more sensual and hadn't considered it in the sadistic way. Since I'm not a masochist, this would be a hard "No".

Removal from hair gives me the squidgiest of cringes.

I’ve gotten it on my nipple jewelry and that was rough removal (ended up dunking in cold water and peeling ). I like the idea of a knife to remove, but I still need to find a partner who might be up for edge play.
