Nope. Nada. Zilch. Squat. Nil. You get the point. Not I.

Rebecca and I had a nasty breakup. She isn't emailing me anymore.

Actually, that's a lie. But I haven't gotten an email from her. :)

I non-consent torture story...

may be in the future of the anonymous Rebecca Campbell. :D

Don't blame poor Rebecca...one of the things the virus/worm does is infect your computer, goes to your browser cache, then send out the contents of your "My Documents" folder to email addresses on web pages you've visited. So this Rebecca probably read your story or visited a site where your email was listed, then contracted the virus, and now all of her personal stuff is being sent out all over the web.

DO NOT OPEN THOSE ATTACHMENTS!

Yes, I read up on it. How terribly embarassing to have your documents sent out anywhere. I love me delete key :)

LOL! Me too. Some poor guy named John Johnson is sending me about 4 viruses an hour. I'm now getting about 15 viruses an hour. It's starting to annoy. lol.

But damn!

Don't you just itch to see what might be lurking in those attachments? Like airing their dirty laundary? What secrets there might be! Oh! The temptation!

I Know! One of them as titled "amy_diary.doc" and I was DYING to click it...what an awful, sneaky virus...

Do you think...

that it would be ok to forward her own email back to her/him/it whoever - and say, "Wake up and fix it already!"? As I understand it, unless I open the actual attachment, I'm ok - or am I wrong about that?

Hmmm mine are coming from someone named deepen.jon...Laruel is there any way we can block these???

Presuming your e-mail client supports filters,

if they're all coming from the same e-mail address, you can set up a filter to move them to trash upon receipt.

I can't believe I didn't think of that - thanks! What timing, I just got an email from my mail provider with a link to filtering spam.
