Thought I'd come give the thread a little bump. How's everyone doing?

I just want to say (not sure if any of our NC/SC/Va Beach friends are on right now) I hope you are all safe...Looks as though Alex's eye is just about to make landfall. Seems he is spread out from nothern SC all the way up to Va Beach now....Hope everyone takes care!

It looks like the eye is still at the Carolins's borders...but the bands are spreading out....Do you have Weatherbug? That is wha I am looking at to keep up with it...I have a very good friend in Elizabether City, NC and they are getting hit now....I thought Alex would have moved out to sea last night but hasn't and even intensified...After the hurricane we had in Richmond last year, I tend to keep more of an eye out on storms. I know NC has gotten so many more of them than Va has but we never know...I just hope everyone is taking precautions and stays safe...*smiles*

Well, howdy neighbor. I"m in sw va also, about 1 -1 1/2 hrs from Roanoke. There's only 2 va threads that I know of on lit (tho, not done a check lately).

Why not tell us a wee bit about yourself.

I travel it seems like each and everyday. I normally end up back in Roa by the end of the night. Early 30's m into running, hockey, tech, and politics.

Ummm wouldn't say athletic, but I have loss lots of weight from lets say 4 years ago. I keep fit, but Im no super sports guy............Just trying to stay in the same clothes...

but, hockey and jogging are more "athletic" than I tend to be.... im more the tai chi, occ yoga (not that often on either tho), meditation type.

what type of writings do you do? I'll not be presumptious and think erotic. Tho, if you do, be sure to post 1 or 2 on here for folks to read.

Well of course erotic fiction. My story feature black characters. No offense to anyone. Just following the first rule of writing. If there is a twist to my work it would be the fact that my central characters are always black women. So I guess you could say I write from that prospective.

I have one or two things posted on this site (early work so be kind) The rest is on ES.COM.
