Ah, sounds like they are both very human folks. We all tend to jump to conclusions about something or another w/ just part of the information. Afterall, that's how rumors start, have even been the reason for some wars.... I'm sorry that it had to happen.
 
It's not a problem me and my ex talked today. She understands that we where probably meant to be good friends instead of being with each other.

Glad you found our thread. LOL, as for VA being so different from GA, yyyeeeaaahhh, it WAS named for the "virgin queen"afterall, ya know? ;) Someone a few months back posted a group in the Richmond area for swinger situations. I can't remember the name, but perhaps they'll repost it for you. :)

As for the thread you started, it may have been in the wrong forum, or it may have just sort of slipped down the list so no one saw it (sort of why I'm such a post-ho on here....to try to keep it on top for folks to find :) )

Hi Adidas,

I thought it was just this town that had the small interracial scene (only been like the last 2- 3 yrs that you seen interracial couples here).

I still remember when an ex neighbor from here moved back w/ her black husband. The whole neighborhood went into an uproar (and I just thought it was due to it being mostly an older oriented group of folks).

If you go to the Carolina Thread, theres a few folks (kayte, lunarsubmissive, snoozebutton((he's not on that thread anymore, but might could locate him)), Hajar, and a few others)on there who might can lead you into resources to find the bdsm scene, and 1 couple that I know who's into that scene met at a sight called "bondage.com". You might try that as well.

I wish you luck finding what you are looking for (tho, do remember, Virginia was named for the "virgin queen"...so many might be in hiding).

Being a native Viriginian myself....*Shenandoah Valley*...keep in mind they dont call it the *Communist (instead of Commonwealth) state for nuthin!!!!!!!.....LOL

I do miss home and the four seasons. Nothing like going home and seeing snow at Christmas!!!!!

Hey Careless,

I do agree. Va has so much to offer...from the changes in seasons...to the mostly moderate weather (for each of the seasons), to having mtns and oceans to skiing, to gems/minerals...etc. It's a very very versatile state. :)

virginia is very pretty,the only other state ive been in that compares it middle CA...ijust wish VA wasnt as draconic about some of the laws

but dear, they only apply if you're caught. :D and since it's still on the books that the ONLY legal sexual position is missionary, I'm thinking there's a bunch of lawbreakers around here, whether they admit it or not.

Yeah, and Ive never understood that law anyway....like who are they gonna hire to go door to door to check....*hmmmmm, I could use a second part time job*:p

I've often wanted to see someone make the accusation, "Your Honor, I was walking down the street and saw my neighbors through their window...and LAWSY, sir, they were some zangdiddly positions. I had no idea they were so flexible. He was holding her upside down around the waist and, and her leg was in this odd position, dang, thought the fella had grown a 3rd walking leg, I did. uh huh. I just KNEW they were doing wrong, it's there on the law books, I hear."

Tho, a few yrs back we did have a custody battle over a child. His grandmother wanted custody from her daughter, who was a) divorced and b) had since gotten into a lesbian relationship. I felt sorry for the kid and mother that the grandmother was such a sh**.
