Yes, I do. I'm (looks around for spys) going to cook a small dinner for my mom and myself. Just don't tell anyone that *I'M* cooking. hehe.

I need to get some cleaning done here also. blech-hate cleaning.

Good luck on your house and the bread toasting/cubing (I could suggest my standbye for stuffing, STOVE TOPS!!) I'm all for simple.

I use my Grandmother's stuffing recipe...it's very easy. The hardest part is the toasting and cubing So worth it though!

I can't wait for Thursday, it's one of my favorite holidays.

I used to be more fond of the holidays then I am now. It started after my father past. Then most of my mom's side would get together for them, till 1 of my cousins was murdered. After that, the family seems to have drifted apart on the holidays. (shrug) I have tried to plan for the family to get together in past years, but no one would commit, and then no one would show up. So now it's just going to be my mom and myself. She's even going to spend the nite here. (maybe I'll be a slave driver and make her help me clean up afterwards..hehe. j/k)

Well, darlin', most men are actually pretty easy to please. It's the women who make us complicated. As for cleaning my plate, depends on how good the serving is.

It could be a matter of perspective. Many men that I know think wmn are anything BUT easy, where most wmn think they are easy. Perspective can change many a thing. LOL.

Darlin, I'm not sure what you mean. I am always but myself and always treat a lady as a lady...except when she wants to be treated as something else.

I don't doubt that you treat a lady as a lady, my dear. It's just most things in life, from my limited experience, is a matter of perspective.

Example: Receiving gifts unexpectedly.

If you receive the gifts from a friend, or loved one, can be endearing. Maybe around an anniversary...receiving a gift a day leading up to the actual anniversary. Would be endearing and loving.

Receiving the same said gifts from a stranger, on a regular basis. That CAN be romantic OR it can be frightening. I've had both perspectives. One year on Valentine's day I received roses from a secret admirer. Another year on Valentine's day, I received a porn video in my mailbox w/ an annonymous note saying "see you soon". (I was not involved w/ anyone at the time, and the thought of a stranger knowing where I live and showing up, after said gift, well, it scared me. )

Again, perspective, a gift is a gift. OR, a innocent gift in a safe environment vs a sexual gift at your house. The 2nd (to me) is scary. Some might would find it otherwise. PERSPECTIVE.


Ok, I've been long winded enough. I do hope this explains perspective tho sweety.

That would scare me too, darlin'. And I do agree as to perspective. After rereading your post, I now believe I grasp your meaning. It takes a simple mind such as mind some time to digest. And perhaps you are correct in that woman may believe they are easy, but the dunce I am has always found them incomprehensible and phenomenally complicated. But again, I'm not exactly the smartest buck in the stable.
