I'm having one of those days, well nights, first she bitches at me for not doing the laundry then she complains at me for putting off the grocery shopping.
I feel like bringing the groceries in at 1:00 A.M. then starting a wash at !:30 A.M. then vacuuming the house.
That should piss her off.

Yeah i miss the old days but i don't miss eating the pain pills like jelly beans while I was out of commission waiting for my last back surgery... I get on every once in a while mostly lurking to see what the threads are up to...
I hope you're still doing good after your last bought and in the new place.
Did you ever get the wifi figured out?

Did you ever get the wifi figured out?
They had to bring in a "super router" to get thru the heavy walls here. Then if we have the electric surge in a storm it's off for a couple of days. So I set up tethering with my android. So I am good on the laptop if need be.
I've never lived anywhere this safe before. It's so quiet too which is nice. Last night I didn't hear the storm until lightning hit not too far away & scare the crap outta me.

My son's a Starbucks barista.
The good thing: People at his store, plus several others, know what I drink. Example: The one I frequent most ran out of sugar free mocha this morning. At noon, they received their truck and supply of mix. Two baristas immediately thought of me and made it for me. Yeah!
The bad thing: The girl at the register looked at me and said, "Trente ice water, too, Roger?"
My "dietitian's" sphere of influence is great.

"Safe" and "quiet" have become a lot more important for me as I've gotten older. The only bad thing about the condo complex where I live now is that everyone knows everyone else. So much for discrete get togethers. Then again a crook would be very quickly seen and reported to the police if he tried anything.
