Vintage 40 Prime THREE

Up here I get to listen to critters munching the way through my garden....

I have been there and done that. These days (except for my pets) I am content to watch the critters on television nature shows. However I do miss the experience of mating in the middle of the woods at night with voyeur deer making just enough noise for us to know that they were nearby and very curious about what we were doing.

Well another round of PT starts tomorrow. I can write this summer off too.
But I sure as hell hope for a few years break before he next rounds of surgery

Dr. Freud, paging Dr. Freud.

It did not rain today so.....

at 11:00 A.M. I hoped on the riding mower and proceeded to abort this lawn, by 3:00 P.M. at 70% humidity and 90 Deg. F. it was cut.

Off to the shower I go, with the washing detail to be done.

I never knew N.Y. had a Tsunami season before.

that's normal weather for down here.

I avoid going outdoors here as much as I can during this season. Even running the air conditioner full blast the bedroom is too warm for me to get a good night's sleep. I have no idea how anyone dealt with these Philadelphia heat waves before we had A.C. and it is a total mystery as to how people in Florida survived... although I do understand that a lot of cold beer got consumed down that way.

Was away all last week, came back to work yesterday to a mess.

Physically: People used my office as a dump, had a shit-ton of empty water and soda bottles (My son came in and took them to be returned: $11.75)

Figuratively: Several logical errors in pseudocode for a new piece of software that will help customers and their employees follow their benefits, and some coders were ready to start this morning on it.

I'm away and it's like the Neo-nerds forgot how to act!

I need to quit and become a full-time writer!

Do you get extra to babysit???

Well now, 86 Deg. F. at 68% humidity and now the rain pours down.

Seems like mother nature is slowing down on rain in August.

The mold is even starting to die around here finally.

Hot but not as humid here in Houston. Halfway through my treatments and still handling it fairly well!
My radiation techs are rockstars!

Great to hear!

Hot and getting humid, storm is a coming. And yet I still have to go outside to cook

Hang in there girl, I hope you don't glow in the dark.

Eeaakk..........

Great to hear!

I ran out to the van to get the windows up when it started.

Naturally I had to take another short shower and dry up.

You're the rock star going through it! Hang in there its not over when the radiation treatments stop but keep up the fight. :rose:
If my wife could do it you can too.
My Mrs. wound up with a radiation pattern bald spot but she plans to get dragon scales tattooed there. One scale for every surgical procedure she's gone through over the years so 37 scales. She's my hero:nana:

I am glad that you are coming along all right. My roomie had radical surgery about seven years ago. She does not know that I know that she just got word that there is a new problem. As grim as she has been I am feeling very frightened.

Great to hear!

When I am not struggling to keep from passing out from the heat I am dodging rain and (a few days back) hail stones.

Good to hear. It's always humid down there in Houston. But you can get a good ocean breeze.

Takes vitals, administers Oxygen.

Can you hear me?

Is this thread alive?

Aside from a .22 to the head, what is a less lethal way to discourage the neighbours cat from peeing on my herb garden at night?

Orange peels, an old motion detecting Hallowe'en toy, hell something called Critter-B-Gone I found at Lowe's...hell I even had a 15mins heart-heart conversation with her one night. I am just running out of options.

Don't fuck with my Basil. Or piss on it. Ugh.
