Powell's is where my heart lives, and the cost is where my soul lives.

Goonies took place in Astoria, on the coast about a hundred miles out, but it is a beautiful road trip and well worth the time. Grab a book at Powell's, some coffee from Stumptown, sit back, and we'll make a trip of it. I'll show you around. Also, Cannon Beach, where other scenes were shot, has one of the best Fish and Chips places on the West Coast. You can compare them, and I won't even mind. Watch the sun set behind Haystack Rock. We'll make a day of it.

Each player is expected to draw attention to their own rule violations.

The skips agree on how to handle the violations.

The vice skips agree on the scoring for each end, including measurements if needed.

The winners buy the losers the first round of drinks.

Oh, I love Rockaway Beach! One of my favorites, and I've been going there for decades. My grandparents actually honeymooned there back in the thirties. I like to hit the winery, then grab some different cheeses at the brie place and the Creamery, so bread from a bakery, then some smoked salmon from that smokery in the center of Rockaway that is so fucking good. Makes a great meal. I also love staying there in January, durring the storms. Beautiful.
