There are very few places I post pictures in, especially pictures that show anything of myself. When I do, it is more a challenge of me vs. me -- I am not very confident in myself, physically especially. (With words, I am somewhat comfortable not to embarrass myself. I keep up with the crowd.) It is a form of therapy, to get past some of my fears. So I post here more often than anywhere else. And I am not alone in this.
I joke about being thirsty here. I joke about posting thirsty messages rather than actually posting thirsty messages because I respect you, I respect your thread, I respect its posted mission, and I respect the people who post here -- and because I like to gently poke since I have authority issues that I try to express through humor (accent on "try"). And I am comfortable that if I do actually cross a line, you will call me on it. Because -- I will say it again -- I respect you enough to trust you will protect what your vision is, and this place you have built for the enjoyment and comfort of others.
And -- don't let this go to your head -- you have the most creative prompts on Lit.
