I proudly have a son on the spectrum. About ten years ago he thought it sad that the dried out wreath was simply thrown out after Christmas. So, off we went into our woods and hung the wreath on a tree to live out its last days in peace amongst its brethren.
Since then, every January, my son takes our wreathes out to that spot in the woods….
