PLEASE READ

You may or may not have noticed that threads are being closed without warning where pictures are violating forum rules.

The "Show Your Face" thread bit the dust the other day. This wasn't done by @ToPleaseHim but Laurel.

She isn't messing about...

I'd kinda like to keep this thread open, so please, only post pics:

1) That are taken or made by you
or
2) Where you are the subject if someone else has taken it

Please don't post pics that are ripped off the Web, or have people in who have not consented to having their pics posted on a sex site.

Wow, I don't know much about his work, but this guy seems to be a pretty good photographer.

When you find shit like this (not @ck30101's post, but the ripped image he called out), please not only call it out, but also report it so TPH can remove the image.

Thank you to everyone who helps keep our little community safe 😘

Hi everyone ☺️

There are some truly talented photographers and artists here, and I’ve been quietly blown away by the creativity and heart in this thread each week 🤍

If it’s alright, I’d like to share a small series I’ve titled “It’s not performative. It’s personal.”

They’re not polished, and they’re not always pretty, but they’re pieces of my life I’ve never really known where to put.

Welcome to the thread!

The most interesting pictures are rarely polished, and are often not 'pretty', but don't forget, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Your pictures tell a story, or at least offer questions that allow the viewer to create a story. Don't think that because the subjects may be more mundane or prosaic that means they aren't interesting. Because they are.
