Speaking of pumpkin… Southern Tier PumKing, my favorite pumpkin beer

I was working for a domain registrar, doing some DNS work. The day before Halloween, the CEO of the company walks through the building with a cooler, handing everyone a local pumpkin ale. At two in the afternoon. While we are all working. I do not like most fruit beers, but that was the best fucking beer I ever had.

As one of our company values was "celebration," the company started a beer cart every Friday at 2 PM. You could ask HR if you wanted a specific brand (Oregon has a lot of microbrews). We also had wine and soda. We are geeks, so we added lights and Bluetooth speakers. I dubbed it "The Mobile Libation Celebration Station." It was absolutely the best thing about working there.

But beyond all of the great beer, none was as good as the surprise Pumpkin ale handed to me by my CEO.

Their classic10yr old is one of the finest, readily available whiskeys there is
I have two unassailable opinions on Irish whiskey (and they are just opinions, like everyone else.)

One, Powers is almost unsippable, but it makes the best Irish Coffee (if you like Irish Coffee).

Two, while I love many, many whiskeys, if I was only able to drink one alcoholic beverage for the rest of my life, it would be Redbreast 12 year, over the 15. (I have not tried the 27 year yet, but I will.)

Love Whiskey, love coffee, but not together 🙂
Fortunate enough to have tried and enjoyed a few good whiskeys/whiskys, each has its place in mybhesrt but the Bushmills is still my go to 🙂
