Sorry, but i'm going on vacation tomorrow. Limited internet. So my posts might be shorter, and I might a day. Should be back on 10 Nov.

Here is my post when you are ready to start force training.

Ryn stood silently against one wall of Holodeck 3, watching as the students filed in for their first training session. When the final student took their place, he stepped forward, his presence quiet and serious.

“Welcome,” he said, his voice calm and resonant. “I am Ryn, and this is Introduction to the Force.

“Whether you believe in the Force or not is irrelevant—for belief is not a prerequisite for discipline. The techniques you’ll learn here can sharpen your instincts, strengthen your body, and focus your mind. But make no mistake: the Force is not merely a tool for combat. It is a path. A lifelong journey of perception, discipline, and transformation.

“This path is not for the faint of heart. It demands endurance. It demands sacrifice. And above all, it demands an unshakable commitment to self-mastery.”

He let the words settle before continuing, his gaze sweeping across the room.

“In this class, our first task is discovery. We will determine whether you are Force-sensitive. If you are, we’ll begin exploring the three foundational pillars of the Force: Control, Sense, and Alter.

“Your training will be structured around—meditation to center the mind, study of ancient Force texts to sharpen your understanding, and physical drills, both armed and unarmed, to forge your body and understand the Force.”

He paused, there was a small smile on his face.

“A bit about me. I was identified as Force-sensitive at a young age. My family lived on Eshan, and I was sent to the monks for training. That moment changed the course of my life.

“At the monastery, I trained in the Sublime Arts of the Seven—the sacred fighting disciplines passed down through generations. I mastered two of them. I will share those teachings with you.”

He folded his hands behind his back, his tone shifting from solemn to inviting.

"Before I begin class, are there any questions?” Ryn asked

All, if you want your character to recieve a higher score on force abilities, let me know and i'll change the score.

i'd say shino is an untrained green instead of yellow. he has the potential to be extremely good much like young anikan was a great pilot and so was luke. they just needed more training. so does shino. though i'd figure his abilities as a pilot would excell beyond competition.

If you don't want Dr L'Sa on the away mission... just post she was there to orgamized the team and did not get on the shuttle

Also... did the Dr Marlower or Lt Araiza want to be on a team?

I was think the ship is Hynerians or Luxan

I was also thinking... the damage was from an attack. So whatever attacked it... will be coming back and attacks again.

Thoughts on all this?

if hynerian, the bodies would be servant/staff. I'd go with Luxan or an as yet unmentioned race from the farscape universe. or from babylon 5.

Sorry for being AFK! I don’t think Marlowe or Araiza would realistically go on the mission (with Xiana trying to be better prepared and Araiza being off-duty), but perhaps Araiza could be on standby for reparations or last-minute armory.

For Dr L'Sa... one fun fact about the HiiKii... there is a crystal in their brains that all thoughts flow through. If the crystal is undamaged, then a dead HiiKii can be brought back to life.

This is based upon many amphibians, especially salamanders, are famous for their incredible ability to regrow lost limbs and organs, even perfectly regenerating bone, muscle, nerves, and skin

I was thinking some of the dark fire crew might be ignoring the dead HiiKii... until a HiiKii explains to Dr L'Sa that the dead bodies particularly the crystal needs to be protected from damage.

Moby-X1 was once a double star system occupied by a (now extinct) alien species that specialized in biotechnology. Fortunately, and unfortunately for the explorers of this system, their creations are still around. The formerly inhabited planets in the system still support life, but some of it was genetically engineered by the aliens. The fourth planet featured a thin but breathable atmosphere and low gravity. The planet was a recreational place for the aliens.

The bio-form species living among the normal plants/animals are designed for entertainment. Hunting, sport (play games against them or just watching them play), dance/theater, music, amusement rides, courtship, even some which are just amazing to look at. The bio-forms do not die, and are not edible by the local fauna/flora. They can reproduce, but are capped so as not to impact the planet’s normal biosphere.

Hunting (maybe the alien race liked being chased… bio-form predator hunts away team (nonlethal if it catches them)
