Ok, I will try to have something posted around Thursday. Working two jobs barely leaves me enough time to post during the day between them. I have half a day off on Thursday.

Since we seem to be down a girl, and I am a girl, I thought it might be a good idea for me to write up another character. So, here she is:
Name: M'rana
Species: Caitian
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Orientation: Bisexual
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 154 lbs
Hair: Auburn hair over her head; golden fur all over her body
Eyes: Emerald green
Rank: Lieutenant (Junior Grade)
Assignment: Chief of Operations
Appearance: M'Rana is a felinoid alien; her eyes have vertical slit pupils, her hair is effectively a mane of red-brown. She is petite, but very curvy, her hips and breasts being generous. Her hands and feet are adapted paws; she typically goes barefoot (bare-paw?) except when full dress uniforms are required.
Personality: M'Rana is friendly to a fault, and very willing to help others with problems, as long as they don't interfere with her own duties. She can be very quick to switch from focused on her task to ready to play.
History: The eldest in her litter, M'Rana has always had responsibility for those around her. She was raised to believe that her duty was to help the others, and keep them out of trouble. When she decided to go to Starfleet Academy, her parents had mixed feelings; it was good that she'd been accepted to such a prestigious organization, but when would they have grandkittens? With an internal sigh, M'Rana packed her bags and reminded her parents that they had 5 other children who could given them grandkittens.
M'Rana's first voyage was relatively uneventful, save for the appearance of a Borg vessel on the horizon - the first that she had ever personally seen. Because of her quick thinking and fast adjustments to the hardware on the bridge, the ship was able to escape unscathed and report to the nearest space station. It is possible that her quick thinking saved the lives of the others on her ship, and that in turn earned her promotion to Lieutenant.

I would except that you moved Sandra out of the interaction with the captain. See if I set up any more NPCs for you to interact with.

Hi everybody!
I have edited my last IC post to include a sudden and unexpected situation for everyone to deal with/react to. The impact/violent lurching that is in that post was ship-wide, and all of the characters would know that that the lights/alarm indicates a Red Alert.
Oh, noes! What's going on? What will happen? How will your characters respond to this crisis?
And before anyone asks, the Security Chief is not dead but she's in bad shape. I hope someone does something to help...

A few notes on what's happening now and things people can include in their posts.
- The "asteroids" are of many varied sizes, some almost as big as the ship. Feel free to describe avoidance/blasting of them.
- M'Rana will find that the ship is in the right position and that no asteroids are supposed to be here. She will however find that there was a Class-E planet in orbit near here and that scans show the asteroids share a similar composition with that planet. Sensors do not pick the planet up, however.
- Lt. Mason is holding on in Security but barely, she needs immediate medical attention. Her being incapacitated puts Ensign Orteg in command of Security for the time being.
As a side note that seems good to bring up now, in Star Fleet there is no gender-specificity in referring to personnel directly. A higher ranking officer of any gender is referred to as "Sir" and commands usually acknowledged with "Aye, Sir" or "Aye, Aye, Sir" for those requiring immediate action. Similarly, a higher ranking officer can use "Mister" to address any lower ranking/under their authority crew member regardless of gender.

Hello All. I hope Everyone is feeling well and happy today. I wish to thank You all for the approving of my joining this RP cast. Here is my character:

Duty/Occupation: Security specialist Star Fleet
Appearance and Demeanor: 5ft 1/2in tall 101pds. Slender with petite figure. Black hair worn in a bun, but off duty she lets it down to her shoulders. Manic about physical fitness and martial arts training. Half Korean and half Trill born on New Chosen (Cho-sen) colony near the Romulan Neutral Zone. Her father was a Trill who had fallen in love her mother during a duty assignment on New Chosen. She has the Trill 'freckles' but has no sybiote 'pouch' so was biologically unable to act as a host. She is moody and rather reserved. She has ambitions to rise through the ranks to become a Tactical Officer and is diligent in her duties.
Biography: Born to a Trill father and a local woman on New Cho-sen (Also New Chosen) Min Dae had a happy and active childhood. Being near the Romulan Neutral Zone gave her much interaction with both Star Fleet and 'special' Traders. She was enamored of the Star Fleet uniforms and tried out for the Academy but was passed over due to the poorer education available at this colony. She turned around and enlisted in Star Fleet and was accepted into the Security and Armed Force branch due to her athletic abilities. Of particular note in her records is a passing familiarity with spoken Romulan due to her contacts with several 'special' Traders (read smugglers). Her mother and father both died in the New Chosen Quake when she was 10 years old. The wife of one of these smuggler's took her in and fostered the young Min until she was 16y/o.

The past few days have been busy, but I will put up a post within the next few hours hopefully.

Hey guys!
For those characters who were in the meeting, basically feel free to take a few posts to do some interacting/preparation/socializing with one another before the next meeting and the mission.
As this is Star Trek, despite it being unwise all of the PCs who are staff officers will be part of the Away Team unless they choose not to be. Similarly, I figured that Min Dae would be part of the security detail that goes with them, just to get everyone together and interacting.
I will let you know when it is go time, for now, interact!
