Perhaps the attraction we have to unorthodox beauty is because in those people who have it resides a free spirit. Their spirits are unbridled, free and unwaivering. They are beholden to no one except themselves. The individuality in such people is what strikes me the most. So yes, Blackbird you are right on the mark here.
