Unexplained bruising

Ugly green bruises. I found them while taking my shower today. It looks like someone grabbed my arms very hard. But no one did. I didn't even do anything yesterday. Just played on the computer and read and slept on the couch all day. So I have no idea where they came from, but I'm worried.

Is this a symptom of diabetes? Or something even worse? I'm very worried. Enough so that I'm calling the clinic Monday. Any ideas?

If they are already green, aren't they older than just from yesterday? Bruises start purple and change colors of the rainbow as you heal.

I get weird bruises in strange places from the cats running over me at night.

I had a lot of bruising a few years ago that I could not explain. I found out that a Vitamin C deficiency is one likely cause. I started taking a multi vitamin and supplemented it with 1000mg of C daily.

That did the trick for me, but again, that's only one possible cause.

It's probably not a big deal, but I think going to the clinic is a good idea.

I never paid attention to the colors of bruises before. It's possible that they're older and that I just didn't notice them before. But the basic question is still there. I've been sloth-like the past couple of days. I just don't know, and it does have me worried.

It did and it didn't. *sigh* I'm probably just worrying too much about it. Still, getting tested for diabetes couldn't hurt. In the meantime, perhaps I'll get some vitamins. Thanks for the link.

April, if you are bruising easily and have no clue why then you need to go get some bloodwork done. Yes this can be a serious something of other things or it could just be anemia. Have you been sick recently?

OMG, April. I hope everything's ok. There must be something about unexplained brusing recently. Last week I had unexplained brusing in a VERY private area. I went to see the doctor, and, they said I was fine. But, ever since then, I havn't been able to keep an erection for more than 5 minutes, or less. So, I'm VERY worried that doing some recreational pot has caused impotentence.

As other's have said, it is probably nothing, but go see a doctor just to be safe. We wouldn't want anything to happen to that luscious body of yorn.

Have you taken any aspirin lately? That can also cause you to bruise easily.
