Good question? I dunno, sacramento is a mix of many many things. And the stadium is near the intersection of the Sacramento and American rivers, as is the city if sacramento itself. However I can't rule out the possibility of a cat species native to freshwater bodies. Besides it's not a ripoff of anything else.. I don't think.

Just thought I'd post a hello and thought of something just recently for Twenty-Somethings.

If you haven't already, twenties is the BEST time in your life to quit smoking.

I finished my last cigarette from my last pack last night after work. I'm not addicted or anything, and sure people say it's not true when others say it, but I happen to be honest about everything, so I'm SPEAKING the truth! Anyhow, I've finally decided to quit smoking for good and start exercising more than usual because I realize I want to live longer in life and smoking isn't exactly making me happy these days. Sure, it mellows me out whenever I need a chill-pill, but I'm sure there are other ways of doing that.

So, there you have it. QUIT SMOKING WHILE YOU"RE AHEAD!!


Although I don't really watch baseball much, my favorite team has practically been Cincinnatti Reds. Go Reds!

Good for you HC...I'm so proud/happy/excited for you. Regardless of whether you're addicted or not, losing that mellow, chill feeling you get from smoking a cigarette is going to be hard for you, so I sincerly hope it works out. I was never a smoker...of anything, nor a drinker but I do admit to being addicted to many other things that while not necesarily bad for my health, aren't healthy. As for exercise, I hate it. Seriously hate it. But I know, like you, that if I want to live a longer life, I gotta do what I gotta do. I also recommend getting a good multi-vitamin. I know..not manly, but I just started on this vitamin kick about two months ago, and I have SO much more energy and I just feel so much better in general.
CONGRATS on quitting smoking...!!!!

As for baseball...I'm a Red Sox addict. MLB.com has some of the spring training games online...I've even been watching those...I'm so pathetic...

That's great you never smoked. I kind of wished I wasn't introduced to smoking when I was younger, but I swear to you I was an on and off smoker, so I can quit just as easily as I started. Yeah, I'm going to miss that great mellowing feeling I get from smoking a cigarette, but I can live w/out it.

Another reason I decided to really quit smoking is because a lot of women find a guy smoking a turn-off. Maybe it's the imaging, maybe it's the health reasons, but whatever the reason, it's pretty much a turn-off to them.

I'm a social drinker. There are times when I've had private parties of drinking, and when I get so schnockered up, I'm done for like a whole month. So I don't really drink, and when I do drink, I'm usually more hilarious than not.


And don't worry about it, you're not pathetic. It's a matter of opinion how people want to watch things. For instance, I'll watch NASCAR races, but I prefer to watch them at home where it's more comfortable and not so loud that it hurts my ears.

Not true. When I moved into my first apartment, my roomie and I had 2 kittens that loved us taking them into the shower with us. Strange little kittens though, they also liked being thrown across the studio against a mattress leaned up against one wall. And being hotboxed in a rubbermaid tote...

Just from a personal point of view, being a nonsmoker, nothing is grosser than being kissed by someone who does....or even just breathed on for that matter. Forget health reasons...the transfered taste is just disgusting. Same thing with kissing someone who has been drinking heavily when you haven't....nasty....
