[This is the sort of drivel this board has been reduced too.]

Has Covid got you bored enough to pick through the carpet with tweezers?

Meanwhile newer studies are showing the futility of lockdowns which make little difference
and some evidentiary material suggests that people locked in together
become little more than super-spreaders among themselves...

... and, the internet is no substitute for a rich social life.

Just give us information and let us make our choices.

That's just not a lot of money to me.

I even have a third vacuum just for the upstairs because I don't want to haul one up.

The basement is tile and concrete, so I just use a little shop-vac.

My state has been either completely locked down or limited to 50% capacity since April. Mandatory masks. No groups more than 10 people. Social distancing.

Our numbers are no better nor worse than any other states.

You hear the expert wail, "If only people would mask up for two weeks we'd beat this thing!" Nonsense. We've masked up for nine months now and it hasn't made a shit-bit of difference.

But I would never post such an opinion, lest I be accused of wanting to kill granma.

90% chance these "newer studies" are political bullshit.

I still remember when AJ thought peer review meant getting book reviews from your allies.

*chuckles*

The places in North America with the lowest Covid numbers are places where distancing, hygiene and masks are accepted by large percentages of the population.

Look for yourself at Maine, for example.

Most of Maine is rural, so it hasn't hit yet.

I know people in Maine. They are not following protocol at all.

For you, yes, because you've insulated yourself with like-minded twats. You've spent over 2 decades here debating politics but as soon as you have your own Political forum, you shun it like a whiny little bitch.

Please keep your illiteracy to Wat's thread.

The numbers don't lie.

Canada is the safest place in the Americas from Covid.

Certain States like Vermont, Maine and Eastern Canada have significantly lower rates of infection, hospitalization and death than the rest of North America.

Which is one of the reasons why I would like to go home.

I might remove carpet and add a rug so I can take it outside for easy and therapeutic cleaning by swinging a bat.
