Very cold here as well. Supposed to get down to around 10 degrees tonight, and they're talking about an ice/snow storm for the weekend. Winter has arrived!
Work did not go well at all. A few people were very mean to Tweety today. Company policy states that if you call in sick before and after a paid company holiday, you must bring in a doctor's note. These 2 employees didn't, so they didn't get paid for last Thursday and Friday. They knew about the rule, so they couldn't claim ignorance. One of them yelled so loud, the entire office heard them. I'm sure my boss will sit down with me tomorrow and discuss things. A manager was in the cubucle next to mine, so he heard the entire conversation, so I'm not too worried about it. But for a minute, I thought one of them was going to grab me or hit me or something. He was pissed!!!!!
Things should be interesting in work tomorrow. By then, everyone in the plant will know what happened. I hope your day was better, Cookie.
