Maybe the insurance companies will start placing a bounty on the the psychotic goats

Home. Ate. Got a salad - something responsible. I was able to split it in two for tomorrow night also. Unless Dawn wants to eat out, in which case, we'll do what she wants.

They're drawing for the Smegma Millions tomorrow night, too. Guess which one I have a better chance at. :D

My city has the river running through it, and the little deers fuckers come to town by way of the river bottom, or at least that's how they came back. The city is hugely anti-gun, which is funny for a town which was for years in the top 10 murder capitals. They will allow bow hunting, however. My deers came to my 'hood by way of the drainage depression.

Off to torment the sleep weasels . . . .

I consider this anti - Christian Intersectionality wannabe alliance with Islam
to be one of the strangest GB things ever.

I see that DMBFF is the latest to join that fight.

Happy Tuesday!!!

So Wat is back in his sleepy little mountain town, with everything sorted out here. At the house.

The job inspection is today. The building looks really good. There's just a little bit of st000pid to sort out, and we have a few hours beforehand.

Allah is kind to and showers blessings on those who follow him closely . . . .

Indeed. Good luck with the inspection.

Cool and windy here with weather moving in for Halloween tomorrow. Of course culture and helicopter parents have basically turned it into a night at the mall. Our traditional Halloween will soon be a thing of the past; a distant memory of how we did things so wrong...

We get the weather tonight. Halloween night is going to be at or below freezing. In that I live in my own little gated community of just my house I don't expect to be handing out any goodies tomorrow.

I live so far out that I haven't had a trick-or-treater since I got here.

I might go down and lock the gates just to make sure.

As a study in human nature I've toyed with the idea of buying some candy, dumping it in a burlap sack and wiring it up to the gate with a sign that says, "Help yourself."

Of course I'd reposition the security camera so I could see who the pigs are.

I'd be more concerned about the 'coons and 'possums trying to get in.

Unless one of the local bears chases them off.

I don't have that problem here. Well, there are some coons and coyotes in the neighborhood but they generally don't start making an appearance until late in the evening.

Because of the forest, evening starts here around 4PM in the summer and about 2PM right now.

When the leaves fall, it will be a little later, but not by much.

Home. Grazing on leftovers. Didn't get home anywhere close to time to try for a Dawn spotting, which makes for Epic Sadness.

But the building did get its certificate of substantial completion, which means it's finished except for what the architect noted. I think that we can knock that out in a day or so and then it's full speed ahead on the next one.

When I was driving back up here yesterday morning, I couldn't help but notice that there was a herd of Allah's Small Creatures dead on the interstate. Lots of deers, and possums, and a few other ones. I'm guessing the one that looked like an oversized fox must be a coyote. They're supposed to be overrunning the place, but I've never seen one of the sumbitches. So I don't rightly know.

The landlady is prepared but says there will hardly be any kids tomorrow, if even at all. I guess that we'll see. This should be the night that all candidates for pub(l)ic office are forced to go door-to-door and take whatever they're given, and then eat it. In one sitting.

Happy Wednesday, and Happy Hallowe'en.

Something got the big dog fired up a few minutes ago. He was resting quietly on his sofa when I went to get the half-and-half, and a couple of minutes later, he's barking and racing out of his doggie door to see what's going on. I guess that he satisfied his curiosity because he's quiet now, no matter what side of the door he's on.

Slept a bit better than I have lately up here. There is a load off now, which is a nice touch. I feel sorry for my Venezuelan buddy - he's exhausted. He's going home tomorrow. He really deserves it.

I'll get outta here Friday afternoon and return Sunday night, which will work nicely.

It's surprisingly warm today, almost 70º this morning.
The rains are supposed to come shortly...

Morning all.

Glad to hear the inspections went well Wat.

Stopped raining ~2Am here. Hopefully there's been enough time for the water to drain off otherwise it's going to be a sloppy day at the range.
