Okay, I have a bit of a tale to tell.
I got stung by a wasp yesterday evening.
I had all of my household tasks completed and decided to relax and watch a movie.
I keep a blanket on the couch just for times like that. So I covered up and got immersed in the show. I felt a tickling on my leg, which I ignored, because I know scratching won't stop a nerve tickle. The tickle seemed to be shifting around and I finally reached down to scratch it and BAM! I got hit. My first thought was Holy Shit batman! That might have been a brown recluse. In a rush of urgency, I went to the bathroom, opened up my jeans and began looking for the culprit. I saw nothing, but I began shaking out my pants leg and the little bastard flew out of the bottom (maybe I should say bitch, I think the vast majority of them are female).
Well, since I am allergic to bee and wasp stings, the rest of my evening was a little miserable.

I just read something trying to pass itself off as a legitimate news story, the invasive species killer in you back yard.


It was about the common house cat. Stupid me. I fell for it...

Technically human's are pretty much an invasive specie over most of the globe. :D

And cats have always been present in the America's, we just cohabitate with the down-sized version.
 
In those moments where reason flies out the window I toy with the notion of getting a Savannah Cat. It's a cross between an African Serval and a domestic cat (Siamese). Cheaper than an Ocelot and no tedious paperwork required to own one.
 
Yeah, it's Trump's fault. What's really his fault is, he gave Wat a tax cut and Wat saves it and then squanders it on more firearms. That's undeniably 100% of his doings.


I hate little stinging fuckers. They seem to have been exceptionally st000pid around here this fall. I've had a couple of them come over to visit - invading my Personal Space. I was forced to terminate them with extreme previous experience.


A friend posted in social media yesterday that it was the 10th anniversary of his son's drunken fatal collision. I feel so sorry for him about that. It's a horrible thing to have to go through, but he seems to make the best of it, all in all. And then I was Google-stalking an ex to see if she's still alive, and it turns out her 50YO daughter died in May from brain cancer. WTF???


And the band played on . . . .

I apologize to you for my grumpy demeanor yesterday. It was undeserved. I understand you were trying to be helpful. I behaved badly.

I used to say there isn't a dime's worth of difference between the two major US parties.


Then I said that there isn't $.03 difference.


Now I'm saying it's more like two cents.


My representative is running unopposed, I think. The other side gave up on competing for the seat. That's totally fucked and should never happen anywhere, for any reason.

Have you looked in to Bengal Cats? A cross between Asian Leopard Cat and domestics. Some people used Egyptian Maus, others used Abyssinians.

I know a couple of reputable breeders. :)

I have. But Savannah's are BIG. :D

Which snaps me back to reality. A litter box the size of a queen sized bed is a bit much.
