I wanted to stop in and share some news with my Lit family. As many of those who used to frequent the TC thread know, Nigel and I met through Lit about 5 years ago. We have built a terrific life together and decided its about time to take it to the next level, so....

*Drumroll* We are getting married in April!! In fact, its just 67 days away from our wedding!TA-DAH!!! :D

We are planning a relatively small ceremony in our favorite city of sin, Las Vegas. It should be a fun week of celebration! Just wanted to pop in and share the good news with all of you who have shared so many good times with me here. As I am writing this, I am reflecting back on those times and how different things are now for me. It all led to growth, right?

It is great seeing you!! I hope you stick around for awhile this time. Peoplle dont visit as often but they do check in once in awhile!! Yes,things do really
change over time! Nigel becoming Mr naugty:D in a short time and inlust graduated from school and joined the working force again! I just wish some
people would stop by and even just make one post,I worry about them!!

your former employer and most importantly,are you going to share it with me! :D Geez,I was so excited about seeing you,my sentence structure,
grammer and everything went right out the window! Great seeing you here!!

Not in order but all answered. I've been around a bit but I rarely say anything on any of the forums anymore. I'm not here as often as I like because I work so much of the time. I'm working two jobs and helping to restore an old house and gardening and camping and hiking and canoeing and fishing. Gee, I'm lucky if I find time to sleep or eat. :rolleyes: But I've decided to try and make time for all of my friends here at Lit. I can't promise every day but I'll try to be here at least once a week. :eek:

There is something for everyone on Lit as I am sure you have discovered. This here is a really nice place to hang out, lots of regulars - although it has been a bit on the quite side of late.

Yeah, I'm doing pretty good I guess. I'm tired most of the time :rolleyes: and my social life doesn't exist :( but other then that things are good. :)

Tired from having work to do sounds like a good thing; here in the South the job market is in the toilet. We are supposed to have a social life? Crap, I didn't get that memo ;)

Lol, someone told me once that there was such a thing as a social life and that everyone was supposed to have one. I'm beginning to think they lied, lol. The closest I've gotten to one is going to my PT sessions.

I saw "Horton Hears a Who" last Sunday, does that count? Ok, so I went mainly to see the graphics end of it......but there were people there....Oh Ok, so 75% were under the age of 12 - it still was an outing :eek:

Maybe we need to redefine "Social Life" to it cover what we are doing then we can say we have one ;)

Social Life- verb
  1. Any time spent with people other than family.
  2. Any time spent within someplace other than your home wherein you may find other people at the same time.
  3. Any interaction with another member of the same species (pets can't count, lol).

Wahoo! Using that definition I have a social life!!!!!!!!! Even a trip to the market counts :D We should have thought of this years ago :rose:
