Tranferring tapes and LP's to CD. What's a good program?

Time to put all my old music on CD. Anyone have any suggestions which software I ought to use?

I don't remember the name of it, but there was a program I remember that had all kinds of useful features for this - such as filters for removing hiss and scratches. There are probably several programs that have these features now, but I just thought I would mention that there are purpose built programs for what you want to do.

Cool Edit Pro is a pretty good program for wav editing
Can't remember any others off the top of my head....
