Top or bottom?

Is it possible to be a Top and a bottom at the same time? Dominant and submissive? Feeling submissive but then wanting to rebel against being Dominated. Is there a term for this? Getting pleasure out of rebelling? Or having a deep need to be Dominated and then rebel against it and being chastised.

Reading the board I see that many Dom's would not like this kind of a sub. or am I wrong? I'm interested in all thoughts on this.

On topic: It sounds to me that Romy is describing a sammie. And some Doms do prefer them.

Some doms love taming the "wild horse" and being a symbolic "horse whisperer". Others doms would consider a sub who is acting up as a challenge to their authority. These subs are sometimes called "smart ass slaves" or SAS. I'm not sure if that is the same as a "sammie". Anyway, I hate titles but I guess we have to use them to paint a picture. So, just to throw in my two cents, being with someone who can tame your wild spirit and yet love it at the same time is such a turn on! I am not talking about "topping from the bottom" which is something undesirable for all, unless you are a sub training a dom. ( different topic, different day! )

I would consider it possible to be both top and bottom. To be bottoming and have increadible urges to TAKE over the top end too. (oh hang on, that might just be greed? lol)
Ive read somewhere, on a site with leather in the title (how unspecific is that?) that a stage of submission can be reached, i think it was referred to as Primal. In that state, i wish to devour, consume entirely my Dom. Its my submission that gets me to this state, yet once there, it is scaringly Top orientated. I want to tear him apart limb from limb. I feel i have the strength to do it to. Delightful sessions when this occurs.

Its aftermath, is me feeling sooooo smooth, NO rough edges, chilled as a melon. And very submissive to my Sir.



That is not necessarily a wise way to be. It is something i struggle with frequently. As it seems unbefitting. But he's wise enough to promote it.

They're called Switches. Switches can have mainly Top or bottom tendencies. And, yes, I have to agree with you, they find it hard to find permanent partners outside of other Switches. I have some wonderful friends in the local community who are Switches. They play hard and like to be played hard lol I, personally, think they have the best of both worlds - be the do-er and the do-ee lol
