To liberals, 'free speech' means the right to indoctrinate. To conservatives, it means the right to dissent from the elites

Define "Indoctrinate."

What does that mean exactly?

Does it mean, "Teaching your children that racism is not okay?" And if so, please explain why you have a problem with that.

And on that note, would you prefer that schools taught their children exactly what you wanted them to think, that for example, slavery was justified, the holocaust was a myth, women should not have professional careers but should have no other role in society other than raising children, and Christianity is the only valid and acceptable religion- if schools taught these things, would you still have a problem with it? Because lets face it, that is indoctrination, even if you wholeheartedly agree with these things.

What exactly should schools teach? Perhaps not history or social science at all, then.

Surely they also want to ban the Pledge of Allegiance. I mean, being ordered to recite a declaration of one's fealty to a symbol when they're far too young to even understand what they're saying, much less whether or not they agree with it - if that ain't indoctrination, nothing is!

As electricity prices rise, Lit will need more ads or paid membership. Free speech on the internet? Lol, it's gonna cost ya.

"Dissent from the Elites"? The elites are the plutocracy, not the educated and not the government civil service.

Wannabe theocrats abound in both parties. Telling everyone what to do and believe is why so many people put so much time and money into political action.

No, and his books are available at Barnes and Noble.

But Amazon doesn’t sell them, so he’s a total martyr.
It has been a long time since I have been to Barnes and Noble. If Jared Taylor's books are for sale there I am glad.

Who are the 'liberals' of whom you speak? It isn't the Democrats. It is a small minority who shout older than most.

Indeed, the fundamental problem here is that while both ends have their extremes, the left-wing extremists are mostly just on college campuses and in a few urban neighborhoods, and of course on Facebook. The right-wing extremists have been actually getting elected to Congress.
