yeah, i know, they fetch a lot more new. still, can't swing that right now.

i got a japan made fender jaguar for about $500 a couple of months ago, i turned it into a real noiserock abomination! bigsby, single tv jones (powertron) bridge pickup and greasebucket wiring. needless to say, my gear funds are in recoup mode.

good shit man, i love P90s! and i play a tele as well. i have actually never played a sheraton, but i know it's a fancier 335 with nicer hardware and what not, but i think they are pretty similar as far as sound.

and hell yeah for guitars, tits and beer!

My fiancees grandma has a 63 tbird I've been trying to buy for a few years now. Its a one owner vass with the recept still in its case. I offered her 5 grand when the economy was good and she wouldnt take it. She thinks the pawn shops will give her 20 or more. The things beat to hell, but to me that means well loved.

No pawn shop ever is going to part with $20k for a guitar. She's better off putting it on ebay or some other auction. She might get more than $5k for it, but $20 isn't going to happen. Basses don't have the same colector demand that 6 strings have.


Tell her I'll give her fifteen bucks and a six-pack for it.
