Thru Time... {All Welcome Please PM First}

Avaline, Lily

Avaline took Zues’ advice and left Iolantha and Karl in her cloudy home. The barrier was there, they would not leave the clouds. She had to think, she had to figure out how to protect the other sisters, who were with the new comer, not only that she had not asked about Lily or Michiko. Now she only wanted to curl up on her bed and cry. Richard was no longer a part of her life, he had been returned to his proper place in History, and she was sentenced to death.

Sighing heavily, she sent words of hope to the other Gods and Goddesses. “Please let me complete Lily’s quest as well as the others before you take me.” With a wave of her hand she transported to Lily’s side. Taking a moment to find the right spells she sent Michiko to her home and placed a dream in her mind, one that would tell her to call out for Avaline or Lily if she ever needed them, then all would be revealed to her.

With a wave of her arms, a mist rose, clouds formed, and Lily was soon back in her apartment in Chicago. “It smells odd here…” Avaline noted, but then saw Lily’s brother resting on the couch. “That explains it,” she left the sleeping woman there, never noticing the darkness of the city were there should have been lights of all colors.

Instead of returning to her cloudy home, she continued onward. Her form finally resting on the edge of time. A place that few could find. Here the beautiful Goddess wept for a love that she had been sure would stand the paths thru time.

Lily, Jake, 2005 and changes.....

The morning sun hit Chicago like a welcoming beam, and Lily opened her eyes, already knowing that the dream in her head was another one of Avaline’s tricks to make her think that nothing was as it had been. Michiko was more then a dream she knew it. Richard the funny minstrel who was in love with Avaline was real, she knew him to be. She could see the woman Wyn, the man Scytherin, it was everything she had lived through, and there was no way she was falling for that dream trick again.

She left her bed, swung her legs out from under the blankets and headed toward the shower. When she stepped in she noticed the array of drugs and syringes that were all over the bathroom. “What the…?” she asked herself. She quickly left the room, and ran into the living room. Her brother lay on the bed, unconscious and reeking of boozes. “Wake up,” she told him, shaking his arm, and seeing him roll over to his stomach.

Horror stared back at her, or at least the tattoo of horror. There on her brother’s chest was the symbol of hate, and suppression. Her fingers attentively reached out and she touched the black Swastika that looked to have been placed there rather recently. Confusion reigned over her face, and she immediately began backing away from her brother.

Jake’s eyes burned when the sunlight glared in on him, and his head hurt as Lily hollered for him to wake up. “I’m up… Lily,” he told her. He brushed his hands through his hair, felt the sting on his chest, and realized what his sister had seen. “Man I was hoping to have that covered before you saw it,” he grinned and pulled on the jeans that were lying on the floor.

“What the fuck are you grinning about?” she screamed.

“Calm down woman… jeeze, you knew I was going to get one,” Jake told her, as he moved closer to her. “I mean everyone is… it’s the only way to get ahead, and look babe, we need this if we’re going to keep pretending.”

“Pretending?” she asked. “Pretending what… what are you talking about?” Lily then looked to the sky outside her window. “Avaline… you wretched Goddess, this isn’t funny!” She screamed into the air, and was suddenly feeling the hand of her brother cover her mouth.

“Quiet sis,” he whispered, “or they’ll think you’ve gone batty again,” he nodded his head to the wall behind them. There she saw a camera. “They?”

“Yes… remember sweetie, they watch us all the time. Now I’ll explain everything, but you need to kiss me now, or they’ll know the truth.”

“Kiss you?”

“Yes… we’re married remember?”

Lily’s eyes grew wide, as her brother’s mouth covered hers. The kiss was one she had shared with him three years ago, when Avaline had messed up her life, and she allowed herself to go back to that time. When the kiss ended, she looked into her brother’s eyes and she could see that he spoke the truth. “Richard…, Avaline,… ??”

With a look of terror, she pulled on her coat. “Jake, the library… now!”

Zues, Hetta, Avaline

Zues felt the heat radiate inside him and he drew himself up from his bed, he was at Hetta’s side before she collapsed. He caught her, carried her to their bed and gently laid her down. Her body was hot to the touch, but undamaged. She mumbled words of pain, confusion and pleading cries of anger. “Shhh . . . my sweet one,” Zues whispered into her ear.

Hetta could hear her husband’s voice, could feel his presence but could not answer him. It was hours later before she could and then it was only mass confusion that raced through the clouds of Zues and Hetta.

“He was there, my love . . . ” Hetta told Zues.

“What . . . who? Has Hades done something to you, my love?” Zues asked his fingers coming up to cup her cheek.

Hetta buried her face into Zues’ neck, “No. Richard. He,” She stopped, stuttered and then continued. “He allowed his power to be used by another, and he works with a human.”

Zues looked at his wife in confusion. “Share with me what you saw,” he told her. “You make no sense. We have all shared powers what has he done that is so different?”

“The future of Earth . . . look at it now my Heart,” she pleaded. “He works with the man that sits now in Earth’s time at Hades’ right side.”

Zues felt the words slam into him, and he staggered back for a moment, disbelief etched in his eyes. “Oh Hetta . . . what have I done?” He rose up from his wife, “Attend her,” he told one of the slaves that served him and his house. He lifted his arms and a sheet of mist formed, it showed him the man that Hetta spoke of. It was Germany 1942 and Hitler was sneering in triumph. Zues closed his eyes, felt the power of Richard and knew that it was true. Richard now sided with Hitler, it was as if he were one with him. Zues knew he would have to fix this, so he lifted his hands, closed his eyes and made to remove Richard’s powers and set things right.

A driving force of lighting struck Zues and he fell to the ground. The shock of power shocked the mighty God and he fought back to rise to his feet and sending back his own bolts of energy. He met the force, its face hidden from him, and he knew that someone planned this, someone was blocking him, and he would have to find out why. He exhausted himself with the battle of wills, his was weakening and it was with great disbelief, and a hint of admiration that he was unable to break the will of the force. Was it Richard that held him back? Hades? Or someone, or something else?

Zues lowered his head, and felt Hetta’s hand touch his shoulder. “You can’t reach him can you?” she asked.

“No, my sweet, I cannot,” Zues felt the depth of sorrow and despair at not knowing how to save the mortals of Earth. “My Hetta . . . ” he felt himself crumble and as a man he wept, as a God he raged, and as a friend he pulled Avaline to him.

She appeared suddenly, ripped from the edge of time, “Why have you called me against my will?”

“We have found your Richard,” he told her.

“Yes? He is in bed, you said Hetta was placing the dream,” it was then she saw her friends, and her eyes widened in confusion and fear. “What? What has happened to him? I love him . . . please, Zues do not kill him . . . take me, what have you done to him?” The tears were already flowing for she could feel it was bad, that her Richard hadn’t deserted her, but in fact had been lost to her. She trembled and shook as she heard the words that flowed from Hetta and Zues.

“NO!” She screamed at them, beat her small fists against her Lord. “NO!” she cried over and over, until Hetta pulled her close. “Hetta . . . he isn’t acting on his own. You need to let me go to him, let me reach him. I can Hetta I can reach him.”

Zues looked over to the woman. “You need to go, my friend . . . you placed Lily didn’t you?”

“Oh Zues . . . I did, just moments ago. I placed her back in her time. I must go to her. I must see what he has done to the World. I need to feel it, not just view it from the clouds.”

Avaline left, and returned to her gardens. Zues pulled Hetta close to him, and for the first time he wondered . . . who do the God’s pray to? He looked to the clouds and his thought was answered in the night sky that descended down over him. He prayed to the Gods before him, prayed for strength for battles were soon going to begin. Battles of Gods, and a Battle of a Demon hunter sent to kill and hunt the innocents of Laws horribly written in silver and unbendable.

Avaline, Io, Karl, clouds...

Avaline wasted no time in reentering her home, she saw the couple on the couch and she froze for a moment, then shot glares to the one known as Karl. "I'm sorry to interupt you. Iolantha, I must speak with you now. Your gentleman friend must stay here, for what I need to ask you is important and he must not yet hear these words."

"I will be in the gardens when you are ready. Waste not my time, for my time is limited," she left the lovers and moved to the gardens. Her mind reached out to Lily, and felt her fear. The time on earth was moving in time at the same pace. Minutes moved in Avaline's world while hours moved in Lily's and the others. She'd have to reach her, but first she had other things to do.

Thoughts and plans weaved through her. She knew that it would require seperating people and joining others. The sisters could not have their true loves yet. She needed to meet with them all. She closed her eyes focused her energies on the ones in the past, the one in the future and the one just yards away from her.

Avaline could feel Richard again, but she couldn't communicate with him she was to far. She would in time return to Germany 1942, but for now she needed counseling, something told her that her time was wearing out and the book of life would soon house more of her name. She could feel the darkness surrounding her and she wondered when she would no longer be there to help tangle the lives of mortals. "Please... keep me with them longer, I need to make things right now more than ever."

She looked to the room where she had left Iolantha and Karl, already she was hoping with all she had that the man Karl was not the man his uniformed made them all believe he was. Suddenly she thought back over all the things she had done, how careful she had been when she toyed with time, and she wondered who had decided to invade the world and alter time so drastically and why?

Wyn, Raven, Dragon guy, Raymond, S. America

After spending some time walking through the hot, humid jungle, Raymond stopped.

"Okay, that's it. We're trying this map. I'm pissed off enough at this fucking jungle for it to work. Everyone, hold onto the map, while I think of water." Raymond said angrily, pulling the softly glowing map from his pocket.

His body was covered in sweat, and Raymond got whacked by more then a few branches.

The girls look good though. Why'd we have to drag the lizard with us? I swear they were both checking him out.

At the stream

The others had gone on foot towards the stream leaving Draken to take the air route. They didnt trust him, but they also had never seen anything like him. He was told they would get in his way, but they looked like a hapless group of normal adventureres to Draken. By no means harmless, but why such lack of trust? 10 minutes later Draken had a flowing stream in his sights, along with a few other creatures.
(Cant believe my luck.......there WAS a stream behind me. Talk about your all time plan savers.)
"Now what am i gonna do about these things?" Draken peered downed and saw that they resembled Fenris, a group of demonic wolf like creatures he had seen in Llonda a few times. But it wouldnt be possible for them to be here, in this era. Draken hovered in the air for a moment, concentrating on the runes in his palm. Seconds later a Katana Blade erupted from his hand, the handle landing in his outstreatched hand. The wound closed up instantly. ""Dragon Fang Wave!"" Draken cried out the command that triggered the blade technique. A beam of dark blue energy was thrown from the blade in an arc, as it neared its target the front of the beam took on the form of a dragons head before impact. The target jumped out of the way and the beam collided with the ground and dissipated without harm to the surroundings.
(Great........looks like i wont be able to take them alone, too fast...)

Draken, Raymond, Wyn and Raven, hot, sweaty, and barely clothed in S. America

Raymond thought with anger and jealousy. He didn't trust Draken. Dragons, if they existed, which they must, were ALWAYS bad news.

Even if Draken wasn't a bad... amphibian? He was definitely more impressive physically, and was DEFINITELY exotic. Raymond hoped the thing laid eggs and wasn't into women.

Raymond began to concentrate on clean, safe, drinking water nearby, and held his finger over the map.

Walking together as a group Raven Wyn and Raymond went in search of the stream . little did they know that Draken had taken to the sky. Not till Raven glanced up and spotted him in his winged form far above them. Shaking her head , she thought typical male ...always needing to show another up.

As they walked on throught the humid jungle, they began to take off the layers of clothing that they had on. It was much to warm to have this much clothing on and it was hampering them by draining them even more than they had been.

Stopping for a bit She watched as Raymond tried to find water with the map he had. Sensing his frustration, she took his hand and spoke softly to him.

"Did you not say that it only works if you are highly sensitive or emotional?"

Raymond nodded and looked at her. Wyn was leaning against a cluster of rocks with her eyes closed and knowing she needed rest and water soon...Raven did what she need to to help them all.

Sliding her hand around his neck she pulled him in to her and kissed him deeply and sliding her tongue into his mouth she deepened the kiss and m,aking sure shhe was aware that it was him that she was kissing this time and not a hallucination from a fevered mind as before. Looking into his eyes she made sure of this. Seeing the change in his eyes she smiled as she continued to kiss him...becoming more and more seductive with him ...arousing him to the point that she was sure that he was very emotional in what he was feeling. His hands shook as he still held the map in his hands and it shook slightly ...and before they knew it ...they were at the stream that they had been searching for.

Taking hold of Wyn, Raven leads her to the water and quickly scans the nearby surroundings to see where they may rest.
Wyn shreiks and Raven grabbed hold of her and Raymond as a creature ran past them through the brush surrounding them.
Not sure what had frightened this creature, but glad that it had not decided to stop and bother them, Raven began to splash the water onto her face and to cup some in her hands to drink from it as well.
Knowing that Raymond must be thinking badly of her, Raven goes to him and apologizes for her brashness and smiles sweetly at him.
"Yes, I meant to do that and It may happen again if you allow it and don't mind"
...placing a hand on his chest..she strokes downward to his hard abs and smiles up at him..
"Forgive me?"

Io/Karl/Avaline/Anger Management

Karl's hands were everywhere, not that I minded in fact I loved it. His hot kisses had me wanting and needing more of his touch. The only thing was I had never been promiscuous and I wasn’t sure that I could be now. Yes I was more then ready to just give in but something about respect, friendship, love came into it for me and even though I knew I liked Karl. The question was could I throw away all my beliefs and just give in to the more primal needs that I felt my body demanded of me.

So it was with great relief and disappointment that I heard Avaline’s demand for my attention at that moment. I felt her anger and it confused me, she seemed to direct it towards Karl and that was even more confusing to me. What had he done that would have caused the Goddess such upset. Maybe it was the fact that he and I had gotten so close so fast, was it actually me she should be upset with instead of Karl. Since I wouldn’t find out until I went out to talk to her, I turn and kiss Karl one last time. Savoring the sweet feel of his body pressed to mine. Breathing softly against his lips, “I am sorry but I must go and find out what is wrong. But I will return as soon as I can and then I would like for us to talk some.”

Standing I straighten my clothing blushing slightly as I realize how messy they had become in our caressing of the other. If we had but just had a bit more time surely it would have lead to much more. Sighing softly with the memory of his hands and body pressed tightly to my own. Shaking my head I look once more to Karl giving him an apologetic smile before heading towards the door that Avaline had just used.

“I am here Avaline, what is wrong why are you so upset? Have I done something?” I could feel the waves of anger radiating off Avaline’s body and I wasn’t sure she knew how badly they affected those around her. Sweat beaded my brow and a sick feeling took my stomach tossing and turning it making me wonder if maybe I was indeed going to be sick. Where would the gods have bathrooms I wondered as I stood waiting Avaline’s answer.

Wyn hadnt spoken a word sence Draken had shown his true form, she was even more curious about him now and wanted to learn how to speak dragon, they were extreamly intellegent creatures at least from what they knew about them, but Wyn agreed with Raven that they would need to keep an eye on him, but at least now that they new he was not from this time, then he could go with them to find Io, and make sure that she was alright just as soon as they knew if they could trust him or not.

Feeling Raven's and Raymond's emotions in her weekend state Wyn couldnt help but be aroused along with them, but she had to chuckle over Raven's methods. Hey what ever works... She thought a slow grin spreading across her face as they suddenly arrived at the river.

Hearing something from above Wyn looked up to see a beam of dark blue energy in an arch shooting twords the ground hearing the animals crys of pain and anger Wyn was no longer aroused or curious she was angry and jumped yelling out as one of the animals came running by them..

Feeling Raven take her hand and lead her to the water Wyn took a drink, and waited for Draken to land, she would have enough energy built up by then to rip him a new one. If he had a problem with the animals or thought they were in danger why didnt he ask her to speak with them...

Two hot sisters, a panting human, and an uber dragon in S. America

"Not... at all. Anytime. Is your sister- what the hell was that?" Raymond was half dressed, wearing nothing but leggings, and he was wondering if he'd have been better off in his trunks after all.

His body was gleaming in sweat, yet he shivered when Raven touched him. He swore she brushed her hand on his bulge on purpose.

The explosion distracted him again though.

I bet it's that damned dragon. I KNEW he'd be trouble.

Avaline, Iolantha -- clouds... Karl on the cloudy couch.

Avaline turned to look at Iolantha, veiled them in a thick wall of mist and clouds. “I am not angry with you, but with myself. Calm your nerves. I have learned that Richard lives... or we believe he lives. The power surrounding him is strong, stronger than Zues and terrible things have happened to your planet.” Her head hung low, her shoulders sagged and she fought the tears that threatened to overwhelm her.

“My destiny and fate are set, they can not and will not change. I don't know how much time I will have to help you, and I must meet with all your sisters,” Avaline took a deep breath. She had never tried to stall, it was an uneasy thing for a Goddess to do. She was normally strong, and very sure of herself, now though she felt weak, insignificant and a failure.

“Please sit,” she told her friend, and when she complied she sat beside her. “We have meddled in lives of mortals for years. Mortals from your planet, beings from others. We have toyed with them, answered their pleas, rewarded them, punished them; in the end we have lost Gods, Goddesses, children, servants, friends, foes...” She felt a tremor of fear rush through her.

“During all this time, we have only alter time and history in minut detail, never enough to cause a ripple or a tear. We have removed people from time, people that were destined to die, people who would not be missed in history. Your Karl... he would have died in a battle that was soon going to be waged on his home... we will rewrite a fraction history for him, or at least that is what we would have done if he chose you and you him.”

Avaline rose and walked to the fountain that sprayed a warm mist of water out into the air. “Richard sits as the right hand man to Adolf Hitler, and... he has altered history. I need to know Karl's loyalties. I need to send you both to Lily in 2005, he must help her fight his evil while you and I travel to South America and find your sisters.” She looked back at Iolantha.

“I do not need to tell you how important it is to be sure he is not a supporter of that evil. Some were not, some were underground soldiers for the cause of the allies. You must reach in see his heart, and if you find him to be pure of heart, then you must take him into the future with you and find Lily Gates. You do not know her, but she will know of me... she is a stubborn woman. She lives in the town of Chicago, and has a brother named Jake.”

Avaline walked to Iolantha pulled her into her arms. “You gave me life, you completed your quest... but my friend, though I know your love, I can't grant you your desires now. I can not fix this by myself... I see your help. Your sisters travel with a man I have not met, or watched, I must go there and seek them out. I will then travel to 1942 and fight the evil that lives within that time. I must decide if the one your sister travels with is safe, and I will send someone to help you in the future.”

“This is alot to absorb, my friend.” Avaline released the young woman from her embrace. “Take your time, and learn about your friend, when you are ready... you may go from this sanctuary and begin to fight the evil in the future. We need to stop it somewhere and during some place in time... if I fail before my time has come, before my judgement is carried out, then you and your sisters will have to fight the evil alone.“

Avaline hung her head, her shoulders covered by her silver mane of cascading curls. “I am sorry my friend... for once, I have no answers.”

Lily Gates, Chicago 2005

Lily poured over the internet, her mind blocking out the feelings that had assualted her when she kissed her brother. It had been a long time since that feeling had shown itself, not since Avaline had madethat first mistake, and then when Michiko had kissed her. She knew that Michiko probably lived in her own time again, and she fought the urge to look up the woman's history. Instead she read about the past that wasn't her past, but the past of a World.

Millions had been exterminated, until another came into command and drove those that were signaled out to become slaves. They were slaves for everyone to use freely, each one clearly marked on the cheek, each one allowed to be taken, beaten, and if one that wore the “favored” mark of the government wanted they could just kill the slave for no reason at all.

Lily know understood why she and her brother had married. He explained it to her in the car. As they drove down streets that seemed familiar to her only slightly changed, she learned that the “wedding” had been performed by a man that was part of the underground workings. A community that worked to undermine the current government. She learned that the tattoo he now wore was the only way that he could continue his job inside the government.

Tears fell silently as she saw the death and destruction of the World's population. There were links to so many degrading sights that she felt the bile rising in her stomach. Slavery was just a small piece in the pie, there was mal-nutrition, child abuse, sexual abuse, degragation of woman and young girls, young boys were also mistreated. No one seemed safe in this world, a world of pure hate and evil, a world where no one seemed to have ever seen the colors of a rainbow.

Though the sun shown and the moon fell, the clouds gathered, the stars shined, but yet everything seemed dirty, dismal, and gray. Lily pushed herself away from the computer hours later and took her brothers hand. “Take me home Jake... I need to tell you a story,” she looked up at him, her heart breaking.

On the way home Lily sent a prayer to the heavens, “Avaline... I forgive you. You never would have done this... I know you are trying. I will be patient Goddess... but please hurry, if you can.”

Io/Avaline/All is lost.... I think NOT!!!

Avaline, would it be better if you were to take Karl, to Lily and fight what is there, maybe that way you would reach Richard where as I do not know who he is. But if you were to send me to my sisters, I might be able to find out who this new man is and figure out if he is worthy of them.

Hugging the woman back then releasing her just as quickly, she was a Goddess after all and well you just didn't hug a Goddess to much they wrinkle to easily. Walking a small distance away from Avaline I started to think. If the world had changed and Karl was in some way... No Karl would stand true and I knew he would, there was no doubt there.. That was what my heart was telling my mind but there was still some doubt in my mind. But that was me, it was how I had always been. Thinking everything through logically, always tending to over think and second guess. I knew Karl enough to know though that he was a good man, and he would indeed help fight the evil. It scared me though that I was thinking of sending him to another woman one I did not know. But the way my mind worked was if it was meant to be then he would remember me and he would fight to be back with me as I was sure I was going to do.

The decision was actually Avaline's but I like her had to know, and this would let me know if he was the one. I had a feeling that he was, but still it was a need to know thing in my life. It was good to know that I had indeed finished my quest, and that Avaline now thought of me as her friend and that I had not upset her.

"Avaline, you do know that I would give my life for yours if it was to help stop anything from hurting you. And if you don't know by now then please know it now. If I can stop it, I am going to one way or the other, I told you that Richard was there and that he loved you, now you must believe it. Believe in your goodness, I do..."

There was a lot of things that I wanted to tell my Goddess that I figured I might never get to tell her again. But time was short and if I was going to stop anything from happening to Avaline then I had to give one way or the other. In the end saving Avaline and the world meant more to me, it meant that my sisters were save and those that I loved would be kept from harm.

Avaline, Iolantha -- clouds -- Karl... still on the couch.

Avaline hung her head. “Richard is in the past my friend. He lives not in the future. I do not have the answers, your sisters will need you, but...” Avaline shook her head. “I am lost. I have no way to respond. I know not how to pull him back to me. If I go to the past. Perhaps he will see me, perhaps he will come back to me. I know not, I can only pray he will. I do not even know for sure if he is able to, I do not know for sure if he lives inside this man, or if he stands at his side.”

“Iolantha, I seek your council. If the man with your sisters is dangerous, your powers are strong as are your sisters, but mine, my dear are stronger. I know there is evil in your World, however there is now more than you or I have ever thought would grace its lands.” She smoothed down her dress, and tucked her hands into her sides.

She sighed, “I will take you to your sisters. Then Karl, I and Lily will work in the future. You will provide a quest for the man that is new to this torrid web of mistakes that I keep making. Judge him as you see fit. Then I will wait for you in your time. Zues will send problems your way, to test his loyalty to you and your family. If he fails them then you desert him where he is and have nothing else to do with him. He is Zues' problem and we will face ours without him.”

Her eyes fell to her friend, “I am sure he is a fine man, Zues is a decent judge of character, and would not place a dangerous one in your mists.” She reached into her robes and pulled an amulet from her pocket, “Wear this at all times. You will be able to reach me through time and space. Call me and I will come as soon as I am able. Your broach will still bring you back to your home; it still stands. I'm sorry my friend. I know not what to do.”

“When you have decided that this man can be trusted or you are at an impass and must seek my guidance come home.” She sighed heavily. “I still need to visit 1942. I still need to witness the man that I loved and see what he does, if he acts alone or if he is being forced.”

She turned to go and looked back, “Iolantha... you will not beable to give your life for me. It is not allowed. I have no clue how much time I have left, but I will do all I can to make things right before I go. Say your goodbyes to your man, and then think of Raven and Wyn, the amulet will take us to them. I will speak with them, then I'll return for Karl. You must be prepared. Zues will not make your lives easy.”

Her eyes were soft, sadness reflected in them, and her body was weak, only wanting to rest. She would travel with the man Karl, giving herself the opportunity to decide if he were in fact a loyal one. “Iolantha... judge the man Raymond... I can feel his fickleness... he is young and focused on one thing... Zues may concentrate much on him; true love is more then just the sweet release of passion... this boy, may not know this, he may not be the right man for your sisters either.”

"Karl will be safe, and will not see us leave but be placed into a deep sleep until I return to his side. Say your goodbyes my dear, then do as I told you, and we'll both appear at Wyn and Raven's sides."

Era mistakes......

Draken watched as the creature dodged his technique and then ran into the brush, past the group of three who instantly appeared at the river. Draken slowly hovered back down to the ground, confused as to why the creatures scattered, and not attacked them upon sight.
"I.....I apologies, i wasnt thinking like i should have been. I've.....been under alot of stress in the last few hours, please forgive my intrusivness."
(Way to go Draken. You scared off the wildlife and quite possible the only connection to this place you have......can anything make my day any /better/?)
"I'll take my leave for a while if you dont mind, I've......things to sort out." Draken walked off down the side of the river to find a spot to sit and meditate, hoping quite possibly one of the sisters would accompany him eventually. Not only was he curious about both of them, but curious about his surroundings and what they knew of it. Hopefully this was his chance to score............................
some information about where he was.
>.>

Wyn had been about to lay into Draken when she saw him hover down to them, but hearing his words she stopped, he was appologizing, and she could hear, and feel the confusioun, and sence of loss that he felt. Damn it ! she thought.. Ok so she couldnt loose her temper just yet..

Seeing him walk down the streem aways Wyn decided to give him a little bit of time to himself so he could think like he had said. Looking over at Raymond, and Raven she said. I am going to go talk to him... He sounds as lost and confused as we were when this all started. I'll be back shortly, and i promise to be careful..

Moving down the stream twords Draken Wyn waited a few feet from him allowing him time to sence her presance before speaking so that she didnt startle him. Draken... I know this is all strange to you... and i know how it feels to be jerked from one time period to the next with out a clue as what you are supposed to be doing. I also reolize that things are much more confusing for you becasue not only is the time different but the people and animals as well.

Sitting on a rock near by Wyn spoke again and said. If you have any questions i will try and awncer them the best i can. and fell quiet waiting for him to respond.

Wyn Raven Raymond Draken S. America

"Is he an idiot? When I got jerked around I didn't go around blowing shit up. What was he aiming at? Someone from this time could have heard or seen that. What if have to deal with angry cannibals now, or worse, guerrillas or drug lords or some fucking insane third world army? You KNOW everyone hates Americans, and what are they gonna say when they see the anime reject over there? Have I mentioned bringing him with us is a bad idea?" Raymond wanted to yell at Draken, but merely hissed angrily.

Wyn and Draken at the River

Draken ruffled hs wings behind him as Wyn approached him. "I understand your concern about my actions and while i appreciate it, please dont place your hope in me. It will only place you in danger as it has everyone else....." Draken heard her words, what he needed was comfort, compassion. Something he haddnt felt in a very long time. He turned to her to bow and was frozen in her sight. He hadnt actually taken the time to study the beauty of Wyn. "Sorry, my words might have been a bit misplaced. Who are you? Where do you come from originaly.....what is the cause of all this....." Draken had many questions, and urges, but didnt know how best to balance them all out. "Why does he hate me Wyn? Do all humans fear what they cannot comprehend? Am i that threatening?..." Draken looked at himself in the waters reflection.....(Will i ever find love again? It was taken from me the first time......)
<Look at her Draken, she's waiting to be ravished. See the look in her eyes? She doesnt want you Lastar, she wants someone to take control, someone like me.>
(Still your tounge Demon and be silent. You'll not ruin this for me like the others.)

Io/Karl/Avaline/Tearful Goodbyes

Understanding all that Avaline had told me I nod my head knowing that when the time came if it did I would fight to the end to save my Goddess as would my sisters. Looking down at the clouds at my feet a sudden thought comes to me, as I take in the rag tag clothing I am still wearing from Germany.

"Avaline is there anyway that I might um.. Well I don't think I am dressed for the part of this, can we go shopping or something before hand? I would like to see about getting some new clothes and perhaps some items like a back pack and some essentials before going to them. A brush would be fantastic, maybe a blanket you know things that we didn't have in germany but that won't change the course of time?"

Holding my breath for but a moment, I wait Avaline's answer before heading in to say my goodbyes to Karl. If she said no then I would just make do, since I knew our time was short. But at the same time I would give almost anything to have brushed clean hair and clothing that fit properly.

Avaline, Io, Karl, clouds

Avaline chuckled, "I tend to forget the minor details don't I. Now see Iolantha if you were a Goddess, you could snap your fingers and have all you wish." Avaline did just that and before Iolantha could say another word, she was garbed in a skirt, blouse and sensible flats. Her skin was cleansed, her hair fell softly in cascading falls down her back and she looked the part of a princess. "There that will do for your needs. As far as shopping... well it isn't something I'm accustomed to doing, but if it is something you wish to do I can allow it. Or I could just make appear whatever you desire, with in reason."

Her eyes were full of a mixture of sorrow, concern, and just a hint of humor. "I lived for a short time as a mortal. You are a brave people Iolantha, more powerful then any God or Goddess if you were to truely think about it. Remember that when I am no longer by your side."

"Before you say your goodbyes to the gentleman, tell me... a shopping trip or a magical bag that you may use at your will, I can make it work only for you and your sisters and it can produce what you need at the moment you need it."

She looked toward the rooms of her home and thought she saw the man Karl shifting nervously inside. "I do hope he is an honorable one, his leader wasn't..."

Io/Avaline

"Avaline when this is all done and we have saved the world fixed time and saved you from certain death.. Then you and I will have a day of shopping and I will show you exactly how to do it properly." Laughing delightedly at how I look, I looked like someone just out of a magizine and I loved it. Words weren't enough to describe how the clean feeling made me feel.

Turning my head to look towards Karl seeing him fidget a bit, I smile thinking how very special he had come to be me. "He will do fine Avaline, I am sure of it, you will see Karl is special and he is very loyal to the right cause. I do not think you have problems from him."

Looking back to Avaline I smile, "a bag should work for now something like a backpack this way if for some reason I am unable to use the bag one of my sisters can." Thinking ahead at the possiablities of why I would not be able to use the bag. Several things come to mind all of which I completely shake from my head.

Avaline, Iolantha, clouds...

Avaline smiled softly, "That would be interesting. I hope we can do that one day." Her eyes went to the man then back to Io, "I'll let you speak with him now. I will wait here, come back when you're ready, touch the amulet, and then we'll be by Wyn and Raven's side."

She soon had materialized the backpack that would allow the sisters to reach in and grab anything they needed whenever they needed it. Her powers were as strong as they were after the letter "A" had been written in the book of the Gods. She cringed as she thought of the remaining letters to come. Would they come swiftly, and when would Zues add the next letter or letters to her name? She knew they were coming, she had come to close to dieing while she was on Earth, abandoned by her love.

"Iolantha we'll spend time together again. Please go to him. I need to send him to Lily but only if he is a friend and not a foe. I will be with him after I meet your sisters. I have thought about this very much. I have to settle him with Lily and then go back to Germany, I must find Richard. I will also drop in to check on those gentlemen that are now in your sisters life." Avaline sighed.

"I know we've been over this, but... for now, this is how it must be handled, then I will come to you again, when I have need. Perhaps we will find another in Germany that will help us or someone in your time." Avaline waited for Iolantha to leave then she sat down on the bench and waited for her friend to return to herside, Iolantha would transport them so she could learn how to use the amulet. Avaline would be there if anything went wrong.

Brushing back her silver curls, she smoothed the shimmering gown down with her hands, changing the color to a deep-royal purple. She gathered her hair into a loose pile of curls, secured them with amethysts and then meditated. Her appearance would leave no doubt in the sisters mind that she was the Goddess that had toyed and played with them. She had news to share with them, then she would decide on their fate... unless Zues has other plans for her and her life.

"Time... please, my friends and family... I just need the time, to make it all better, then," she covered her face with her hands. "Then I'll go willingly."

Io/Avaline/Karl

Moving to the doorway I take one last look back at Avaline knowing she was waiting her fate. Although she was trying to do the right thing and be strong about it I could see that she wasn't ready to give up to it just yet. If only there was a way to stop all this and go back to the beginning. So that my sisters and I hadn't cast and asked this wouldn't be happening. Man did I have a way of screwing things up, but one thing was for sure. Avaline and I would have our day to go shopping even if it killed me doing it.

Turning I step through the door way seeing the man before me. "Karl we must talk, I have to go away for a while. You are going to go with Avaline, and I am sorry you will not have a choice in this either. I haven't honestly given you much choice about anything since you met us and I am sorry for that. But I am not sorry for meeting you nor will I ever regret meeting you. I am sure Avaline will test you on your worthiness of my affections. Have faith in yourself as much as I have faith in you which is a lot."

Going to sit down next to him I slip my hand within his, smiling softly as I think of our shared kisses and how he had stood by my side just a little time earlier not knowing what was in store for him. I trusted Karl with my life, but with my heart? That remained to be seen, I knew in the short amount of time I had had with him that there was more there then just a spark but now would come the true test.

"Avaline needs you to go with her, things are different on Earth, something changed and now its bad. Not like it was when I left or even for that matter when we left it just a bit ago. You will have several questions and I wish I could answer them but I can not. Not because I don't want to or that I would hold back from you, but because to be honest I have no clue. I do know though that as long as things get fixed and you want to we will meet up again. Karl you have become very special to me and I am afriad of losing you but I must go to my sisters to help where I can. Please understand I don't want to leave you but I must do this for Avaline, my sisters, you and Earth."

Letting go of Karls hand I lean into him placing my lips upon his, breathing deeply of his taste as if to remember it for all time. What started out as just a simple kiss I deepened into a longer more complex kiss that left us both breathless when once we broke. Sitting back but staying within Karl's arms I sigh deeply just wanting to stay right here holding onto him.

Wyn, Raymond, Draken and Raven....South America

Placing a finger to his lips Raven hushed Raymond. Shaking her head slowly.
"Please we are not sure of who he is and really he could take us all out if he
wanted to in merely his size alone. Do you really wish to anger him?"
"Sweetie I understand your frustration and ...well...it is not helping us ...you need to relax a bit and chill"

Sliding her finger from his lips trailing it slowly to his chest ...knowing this would keep him distracted a while.
Looking around and seeing that they were alone again as Wyn had headed out to check on Draken. Raven closed her eyes briefly and felt that her sister was fine.

Whispering in her mind to Wyn ~~Wyn be careful...call me if you need me..I will be there~~

Looking back at Raymond she smiled..."Now where was I again?" Smiling
innocently she looked at him and grinned.
