I have or had an app that would track satellites so you could watch them come over. I’ll have to dig it up as I haven’t seen it in a while. Would love to catch that.

Damn…good for you! We went to the beach to watch the Perseid Metor showers and maybe get a glimpse of it…no dice…on the meteors and the array

The NYT had an article on Thursday about Starlink. The company launched in ‘19 with 60 satellites. There are now over 4500 in low earth orbit. The pic that accompanied the above the fold article, had red dots for every satellite tracked on Aug 9. It was quite amazing.

I haven't seen any of the Space X satellites but before they became a thing, I did spot the ISS one night when I couldn't sleep and I was staring out of my window.
