This is good news

Outstanding!!!

The comments are priceless as well. Almost as good as the article!

Seeing as the companies outlined in the article categorize a UK size 8/US size 6 as plus-sized, I wouldn't hold my breath.

The woman who is the subject of the article is a size 16. I would not call her a BBW; I would call her a beautiful woman who is tall.

Oh, I think you can hold it for a while. This sort of campaign is bound to make the industry (with it's ultra-thing models) sit up and look closer at what's really happening in the towns & cities, as opposed to some prat's definition of 'what's pretty'.

So how big IS she?

Of course, it would really help is the industries in the individual countries would actually standardise on a meaningful size code. So far it seems that if you think of a number, add four for the UK.

According to the text, she is 6' 2" tall. and other statistics are included too.

I hate the phrase "plus sized women". Are there minus sized women? The manufacturers only want to produce about six sizes. That's what it's about. Guilt beautiful natural women into feeling bad about being who they are. What gives this culture the right. "All shapes and sizes, first come first served." That's my motto. Just have a brain please.

Goes for ages, too.

Maybe clothing models will start looking like women instead of skinny boys.

There's nothing wrong with the model in the page you linked to. I find her sexy, personally.

Absolutely. So would almost any man. :) That's the point of the article and this thread - that here is a very attractive and sexy clothing model.

You curve-lovers seem to lurk online. I can't seem to find any of you in the real world.
