I may still be asleep, but

Are LordLucan and LordBunkum74 the same person?

We are not the same person. Clearly someone admires us so much that they have decided to adopt our attributes. Fame always carries with it a price. That is one :)

It really is impressive, though. I mean somebody went to A LOT of work to do that... A hundred and six posts, copying the AV, the sig line... reading the thread and then copying LL's earlier posts with a few changes... Damn. I'm thinking an hour or two of work there, depending on how fast they are.

“What happens if someone gets to know you on a deeper level?”

Getting to know me can be a battle in itself and is often not worth the effort.

It's been rewarding so far.

:D

The only problem is you have TOO MANY admirers. I feel like a sapling in a forest here.

This is the most fucked up excuse for an argument between two posters I've ever seen on literotica. I don't see where Never did anything wrong. Obviously, Lord Lucan, you do not understand Never nor do you get her humor or her personality and the way she posts. This seems like such a trivial thing to get your knickers in a twist about.

The hell with his nickers, this guy's got the worst case of diarhea of the mouth I've ever seen!!!

I tried to read this thread where I left off before, but it was too painful. That friggin rambling, hijacking troll doesn't know how or when to stop. I think he's thriving on the attention and the best thing we can do is stop feeding the troll.
Never, again I'm sorry this happened to what was a really good thread to begin with.

I was wrong yesterday Sandia. I did use the word "disabused" incorrectly. Thank you for pointing that out. I appreciate it. However, it does not mean the opposite of abuse. It means to rid of false ideas.

Yes, someone has gone to great links to make me look worse than I already do. It is just too funny.

Naughty really dislikes me based solely on my statements before they were taken by an imposter. I did not need his (or her) help in further aggravating people.

It never was my intention to engage in such a long discussion on this topic. Or to anger people to the degree I have. I do apologize for it. :)

I know, LL. You said Never was enlightening you, when you meant she was insulting you. Kinda ironic, huh?

I thought so, too.

A good dust-up is always fun. I enjoy them (as long as I'm not involved!)

I found it quite apt.

No.

Now, LordLucan.
All I have said is that our avatars color other's reactions to us.
If you disagree with that, fine, though I consider it naïve.

Any other claims or beliefs you’ve stated I have are airy nothings at best. At no time have I said that avatars are important, or that they revel the inner psychology of a person, though I have said they tell you something about the owner.

You’ve yet to come up with one quote from me to support what you claim I’ve said, you never will either and you know it. You have managed to get a great deal of attention and I’m certain that was your goal from the beginning so, congratulations.

Now you have a choice to make, you can stop posting or you can continue posting. You said earlier that you like to be the last one to speak. That’s not going to happen. You’ve managed to annoy me enough that I feel like denying you whatever pleasures you might derive from that.

Petty?
Me thinks so.

Now, I’d like to make it very clear that I’m not talking to any one poster, nor am I pretending to hand down commandments from the mountaintop. This is just my opinion:

If you plan to engage in serious discussion please be aware of your avatar’s ability undermine your credibility.

To go along with that; remember that your avatar both serves to identify you and to color your post. People will make unconscious assumptions about your attitude and personality based on everything from the subject matter of your avatar, to its style, to even the colors it uses.

While sexual imagery is expected, crude or highly explicit content can cause negative reactions. Just because you have sex with your genitalia doesn’t make genitalia sexy. Remember, the vast majority of content can be aesthetically pleasing and arousing, or ugly enough to make a viewer grimace.

If your avatar is a picture of a real person or a character, please be aware of associations people have with that person or character. A good example would be that of the gentleman who unknowingly used a gay porn star as his avatar and then became quite upset when men started hitting on him.

These are just a few of my thoughts on the subject of avatars. Feel free to disagree or offer your own. Or talk about what you think of avatars in general.

I disagree with almost all of this opinion, which is an opinion, as you clearly state in paragraph one.

I respect your opinion.

I disagree with it.

In paragraph two you clearly explain why avs are important and their potential impact upon the viewer.

Paragraph three is a further example of that.

So, clearly you view avs as important. Important enough to start a whole thread on them.

I apologize that the thread became the "I hate Lord Lucan thread." I really do.

Let us agree to disagree. That is a state of affairs that I would find satisfactory.

Sorry I annoyed you. That was not my intent either.
:)

Most people really don’t give a damn about you.
Only me, and only because it’s my thread.

Tell me again about the 500 PMs people sent to threaten you.

Alternatively, point out one instance where I said avatars were important.

Alternatively, post again in the hope that you’ll be the last one to post.

Now I have to harass an Indian, but I’ll be right back, OK. :)

I'm getting a sense of another never ending thread being born...

Nah.. Not if it's only those two posting. They'll get tired of it.

So, Cheyenne, I heard you have some great nekkid pics you'd like to share...?

:D

Good fuck! 22 pages of mostly drivel - amazing!

I post AVs depending on how I am feeling about myself at that moment in time. 99% of them are me in one form or another - some are my face, some are my body. I don't show any totally graphic shots of my crotch, just because I really dislike those photos of me in the first place. I do, however, post AVs with my tits or ass in them, and I'd hate to think that should I manage to come up with an intelligent post, it would be disregarded because of that tiny little picture. When I am reading threads, I barely notice the AVs - I am looking at the words. Sometimes I have had to scroll back up to double check something I thought I saw in an AV (like Bratcats ass in this new one.....wow!), but basically I'm reading what's typed, nothing else.

I'd hate to think I make judgement calls on people due to their Av, but I can see how it might colour your opinion - temporarily - of someone. But, I don't understand why anyone with more than a low intelligence level can't get past that tiny picture, and read what that person has typed for what it is.
