The world is a safer place because Israel takes action and is willing to pay the price that no one else would.

The population of Gaza is about 2 million. Only about half are old enough to work. Israel was understandably reluctant to let Gazans freely move around Israel after the violence of the Intifada.

Egypt places much tighter restrictions on Gaza. There was no movement across their border even before October 7th.
A population of 1M adults and 1M kids doesn't sound right but in any event even if those numbers are right it's still Israel running Gaza like an open air prison/concentration camp because before Israel was even a country both Muslims and Jews lived where Israel is now and over time most of the Palestinians got rounded up and concentrated in to Gaza...

Yer the fucking moron here ya asshat since you don't think the palestinians weren't rounded up and thrown into Gaza😄
Oh my, how horrible is must have been for the Palestinians to AGREE to live in Gaza, have their own freely elected government, have trade with the outside world, and all the rest.

It's a travesty I tell ya. A travesty.

They were not allowed to have trade with the outside world.

The world is definitely not a safer place than it would be if Israel did not exist. The only geopolitical problems Israel ever solves are those provoked by its own existence, and that includes the possibility of a nuclear-armed Iran.

So, are you proposing another attempt at exterminating the Jewish race?

The only thing I have ever seriously proposed in this area is a one-state solution: Let Israel annex the OTs outright -- and grant full voting citizenship to all their residents. That way the West Bank settlements can remain where they are -- which they could not, under a two-state solution. But even that would be preferable to the status quo, which is intolerable.

Lol, yes they were. They imported "water pipes" which they turned into missiles to use against Israel. They imported food, which Hamas kept from the citizens to feed their militants and let them grow fat on it. They had FREE water and power from Israel.

Sounds like trade with the outside world to me. But then you're known to lie a lot so of course you'd say it wasn't.

See Blockade of the Gaza Strip.

The restrictions on movement and goods in Gaza imposed by Israel date to the early 1990s.[1] After Hamas took over in 2007, Israel significantly intensified existing movement restrictions and imposed a complete blockade on the movement of goods and people in and out of the Gaza Strip.[2] In the same year, Egypt closed the Rafah border crossing.[3] The blockade's stated aims are to prevent the smuggling of weapons into Gaza and exert economic pressure on Hamas.[1] Human rights groups have called the blockade illegal and a form of collective punishment, as it restricts the flow of essential goods, contributes to economic hardship, and limits Gazans' freedom of movement.[2][4] The land, sea, and air blockade isolated Gaza from the rest of the occupied Palestinian territory and the world.[5] The blockade and its effects have led to the territory being called an "open-air prison".[6][7]

Exit and entry into Gaza by sea or air is prohibited. There are only three crossings in and out of Gaza, two of them controlled by Israel and one by Egypt. Israel heavily regulates Palestinians' movement through Erez, with applications considered only for a small number of laborers (less than 5% of the number considered in 2000) and for limited medical and humanitarian reasons.[8] Israel's military cooperation with Egypt and its control of the population registry (through which it controls who can obtain the necessary travel documents) gives it influence over movement through Rafah.[9] Imports are heavily restricted, with "dual use" items permitted only as part of donor projects. This includes construction material and computer equipment. Exports are also heavily restricted, with the main impediment to economic development in Gaza being Israel's ban on virtually all exports from the Strip.[10]

And yet they get food shipped in, clothing and other durable goods get shipped in, construction materials get shipped in...

Sounds like trade to me.

Of course you probably think I meant unrestricted free trade, but that's on you because you're a stupid fuck.

They can't ship anything out, so it's not really trade -- they're dependent on charity.

Did you know that any citizen of Gaza can apply for Israeli citizenship? All they have to do is ask for it and prove they're peaceful.

Yet they don't. Which is THEIR choice. Just like it's their choice to not manufacture goods for export and instead their efforts go to making bombs and missiles.

So you can cry and make up all the fake stats you want, Gaza is the way Gaza is because that's the way the Gazans want it to be. You can thank Yassar Arafat for that, because it was his efforts which created Gaza for Palestinians and separate from Israel.

THEY chose. They weren't "rounded up" by anyone except themselves.

That would involve leaving Gaza, wouldn't it? Gaza is home. They don't want to live in Tel Aviv or wherever.

But YOU SAID they were being held in the world's largest open air prison. Being able to FREELY leave sort of negates that entire statement.

In the end, all you've shown here is that you're an even bigger fool than everyone already knew you to be.

It's not a prison because they can't leave, it's a prison because Israel controls the borders. Tightly. With the clear intention of preventing the strip from developing economic independence.

NOT TRUE!

Travel between Gaza and Israel is controlled to prevent suicide bombings and mass murder by Jihadis.

You REALLY need to shut up and sit down because everything you say is a BALD FACED LIE.
