The Weekly Weigh-in Thread.

woohooo...i finally dropped a 1 1/2 pounds, maybe getting sick wasnt such a bad thing after all;) Though now i am eating again i'll get it back :rolleyes:
 
*sighs* My body is still doing wonky things weight and BP wise...
Today I was 253.7 lbs. up from Wednesday but still down from Monday. But it was my last cardiac rehab session. From here on out, I'm on my own.

Well... me and the dog, cause he's my walking buddy!
 
I swear, I think I'm just going to give up.

Why can't I do this? :confused:
 
If it pleases the court might I request some help, not on weight lose though more of toning up. I think I weigh in the 150s now but not sure as I know no one that has a scale. My problem is that I need to tighten up my abs because my stomach is a bit flabby. I am doing the half situps that I learned about in an excerise class. Those are good for the main body of the abs but what can I do for the oplique muscles??
 
I barely exercised this week, and I had far too much birthday cake. Tomorrow's "official" weigh-in is not going to be fun.

Oh well, plow forward.

this week i havent done much either... had a half healthy week and half crap week
but hey
its about being healthy and happy fo rlife. not necessarily meeting a weight requirement every damn week

not much change here in terms of the number on the scale, still around 227 but i think my %body fat is slowly dropping so all in all not bad.

The simplest thing I can--less calories, more exercise. I'm not succeeding on either count. :rolleyes:
 
What are you eating? I find you can eat a good bit if you just stay away from sugar and limit your carbs to complex ones.

Exercise sucks. There might be a few twisted fucks that love it, but the rest of us suck it up and do it.
 
I gained about a pound and a half, but I expected a bit after that 10 pound loss.
 
Okay, see, this is what drives me fucking crazy.

Three weeks ago - 5.0
Two weeks ago - 4.0
One week ago - 3.8
Today - 4.0

It's the plateau from hell, I'm telling you. Except for an increase around the holidays, I have been in the same 5-pound range since September. And I diet every day. Every day I eat the food that's prescribed to me. Every day I have cravings and feel desperate to eat something, and 90% of the time I resist them. Every day, I am dieting. And I still do not lose any weight.

It's the exercise. I know it is. I need to do it. It's got to be the only answer.

Well, yeah, you are going to burn a basic rate from just being alive. But if you exercise you are going to burn calories during and after you are done as well. It's not going to fly off your body, but it will go down with time. 3500 cals equal a pound. 200 extra calories burned a day over a year adds up to 20 pounds.

The problem is people want an instant fix. And they want to eat what they want. And to NOT exercise.

Stop the insanity!
 
Alright so at the gym tonight I will weigh in and hopefully it will be better then last week... but we'll see. Here's my stats from when I first started working out at the gym.

March 12, 2006
Inches to start with...
Lovehandles/Sides = 34 Inches
Upper thigh/left= 24
Upper thigh/right=23.5
Hips/middle butt=42
Waist=29.5

weight=150 lbs


June 06, 2006
Lovehandles/Sides = 33 Inches
Upper thigh/left= 23
Upper thigh/right=22
Hips/middle butt=41
Waist=27.5

weight=144 lbs

Lost: 1.5 inches
2 lbs gained

Total: 6.5inches overall
6 lbs

I'll let you guys know where I am at now but it's probably not tooooo different.
 
I am totally IN!! I want to loss about 70 pounds.. well actually i dont care how much I weigh as long as i can fit into a pair of pants that are size 10..;)

weighed myself a few days ago.. 196...lost a few pounds by accident.. Yippie!! I have changed my eating habits.. trying to eat before 8 pm every night.. I know it is suppost to be before 6 but i work late so that isnt going to be possible. :) I have alot of friends on the Weight Watchers plan.. I use them as support.. but i have yet to start weight watchers. I have gotten really good at reading lables! And HOLY CRAP... i didnt realize who many calories soda has.. giggles..well for that matter i didnt realize how many calories anything had.. smiles.

So here i am joining in.. i will let you know where i am next sunday! :)

My guess is she's 5'3"

I hope everyone has a good week. I'm going to start mine out with 30 minutes on the elliptical before breakfast. Thank god for programmable coffee makers.
 
sunday 7th Jan 07 starting weight - 125 kilos

monday 29th Jan 07 current weight - 115kilos

3 kilos this week... yay slow and steady :D
 
I have put on 300g (just over half a pound) but I have been doing weight training and building muscle, plus have been busy and short of time to exercise as much as I'd like. Hoping to remedy that from now on, getting to the gym 3-4 times a week as opposed to once or twice :rolleyes:
